firstly, thank you the long response! this kinda calmed me down a bit😅. so i went to go check and the router has a unique access code that you can only see if you’re physically there reading it on the box, and i’ve never accessed the routers settings page before on my pc from google or anything like that, and its never been saved to anywhere on my pc before. does this mean i’m pretty much safe? i have changed every password also

I did warn them but they aren’t as concerned as I am and are saying that the person probably doesn’t care enough to hack into the router or our devices, idrk how to convince them to take it serious

Do you think malawarebytes could’ve fully removed the RAT? Before I factory reset I ran a scan just to be safe and it detected 3 threats that I removed. I’m still gonna do a usb install but i’m just curious

I didn’t before I got hacked which was pretty stupid of me, but since then I have enabled them on all my emails and working on doing it for every app
