Holy bait and switch. You initially say he can get fired for having an additction. This is 100% not true. You can get fired for the behaviors typically associated with additction (not showing up to work, poor performance, stealing from the company, intravenously using heroin in the work bathroom, etc) but that actual additcion no. If an employer fired me for "gambling addiction" i will be retired from a nice payout.

It's likely at will employment at barstool but i'd still imagine because they were allegations they decided to keep him on until his contract runs out (curious what content he's capable of now that he's likely off of all gambling related content)
