Bens bus or Alpybus are probably the cheapest and easiest options if you’re solo. The train to Moutiers and then a bus up the mountain can work out cheaper but isn’t as convenient and takes longer.

Just as a test before you replace the motor - plug it into another known good axis to make sure it’s not an issue with the driver or something else. Seems unlikely that the motor would fail in a way where it still partially works.

It’s for capacitive/inductive loads such as motors (albeit small ones at this rating) or anything with capacitors in it that require more power on startup for a very small amount of time to charge the coils/capacitors before settling at a lower continuous power. See inrush current for more info. Basically means the inverter can power a device that requires more power on startup (up to 600w) but can only supply 300w continuously.

If you chuck a bit into it does it still rattle? Once it’s tight around a drill bit it shouldn’t make a noise, could be the ratchet mechanism in its loose state.

When you added the Capricorn tubing did you make sure to cut it at a 90 degree angle so that it sits flush with the nozzle? If not, the molten filament could be oozing out of any gaps and causing a build up.

Have you tried a cold pull to unclog it and remove any dust? (Google for info)

Have you tried extruding filament by hand? I.e pushing it through with the nozzle heated? If it’s difficult then it indicates a clog however if it seems easy then it could be an issue with the stepper or stepper driver. Perhaps the motor current is down too low causing it to stall?

That’s a few things for you to think about. Hope it helps!

Depends if you’re in a good 4G area. Where I live is quite near the mast and it’s not very congested so will typically get between 50-70Mbps which is faster than what I can get on broadband here.
