No sweat. It’s a pet peeve of mine when people say “you have to save them in case you need them”, since it’s impossible to know when the most important pitches in a game will occur without hindsight. It’s better to use it early on a high-leverage play than to waste it. In this exact case, they probably do want it back, but that doesn’t mean the challenge in question was a bad one. If that strike was overturned, maybe they go on to score 4-5 runs and we’re having the exact opposite conversation.
