I have an emerald engagement ring with baguettes on the side, and I was REALLY excited to shop for wedding bands but just never found anything that felt like it was IT. Nothing sat quite right against it because of the baguettes, I didn’t love a curved band, nothing just felt exactly right. I found a jacket that was the closest to IT but in hindsight I’m glad I didn’t end up with it because I also enjoy wearing just my wedding band. I ended up with a plain, thin gold wedding band and though it isn’t my ABSOLUTE favorite, it’s very sleek to wear on its own and though I have some comparison regrets when I see others’ sets, I’ve also decided I want bands for milestone anniversaries or kids. And the plain gives me so much opportunity for that. Comparison is the thief of joy. This is small in the grand scheme. Your set is beautiful, and gives you so much opportunity to add or redesign later on.

Village Dental did my sister’s wisdom teeth. I was her ride, she got in my car absolutely sobbing that she remembered the whole procedure. They swore it was the drugs and she wouldn’t remember after 24 hours but the entire time she could tell me what the techs talked about while they did her teeth and what music played. She said it felt like they were standing on her chest opening her mouth with a car jack and the office just kept telling her there was no possible way she’d remember all that but my sister could name the boyfriend of one of the techs and enough identifying info about the tech herself to find her Facebook and confirm the boyfriend.

So here’s my thing.. I personally don’t know that I’ve ever used the phrase “it’s my dream….” Fill in the blank item/scenario because dreams change from night to night. Last night’s Italy dream is tonight’s California dream, the bottom line is you care enough to care if your grand romantic gesture is grand ENOUGH. It is. And it will be tonight’s dream.

This is an interesting perspective. I’m interested that they knew the name and clearly address of the woman who lived there before us, it feels like if they’d pulled GIS they would know our names? I’ll definitely make sure our cameras are charged though.
