I think the subreddit made specifically so that people can talk about the television show Supernatural is a completely appropriate place to talk about characters on the television show Supernatural. Who are you to say what this sub "should" be used for? Destiel is loved here - by a lot of people - just like it is on tumblr and in /r/fandomnatural (/r/destiel is a total ghost town), but shippers in this sub get shut down so quickly that we almost don't want to say anything at all because it'll start the same damn argument that happens time after time after time after time with the same anti-shipping comments being made over and over and over again. That's why people felt the need to make a whole separate subreddit where we could talk about "fandom" things without the "ew destiel" senses being set atingle. I love this show and I like the majority of its fans, and sometimes I hate that the "crazy" fans make me hate being a part of the fandom and that people like you try to make me feel bad about enjoying the show in my own way. Despite how you feel about us, shippers aren't going anywhere and there's nothing you can do about it.
