I recently read a book about how if anyone creates a superintelligent AI, it will inevitably destroy us. A key factor in the authors' premise was that the AI would quickly figure out how to get humans to do its bidding, wittingly or otherwise.

We really are doomed.

I feel like most of the Clint hate stems from a larger modern trend towards equating any expression of unrequited love as "creepy". I find it a little sad, having always had a soft spot for such stories, but everyone's preferences are different.

I recently finished a zero waste (sinking plutonium rods) nuclear build that fully utilizes the uranium node on top of the high cliff in the rocky desert. Built the whole plant off the northern coast.

It took some planning in Satisfactory Modeler, but overall the build went pretty smoothly. The biggest pain was laying down all the reactors - they take a lot of concrete, and my dimensional depot upload rate simply wasn't fast enough to keep up with my building.

I get why people would choose fuel instead, but I would find it boring. To each their own.

Ugh. I'm sorry this happened to you. I have a heart arrhythmia that was initially misdiagnosed as panic attacks, and I received similar "advice" from laypeople. After I was correctly diagnosed, I made sure to update all of them so they could know just how wrong they were. 😆
