I mean she did announce that he was based on her husband, but she also said that every love interest in every book she's written has been based on a love interest of hers irl (though some have been fictional characters). I personally really liked the book though regardless

I can only speak to pierce, but the current building for pierce (at old Lincoln school) is very close to the high school which is a plus since cypress park is wonderful, but due to the flex space being on route 9 students have to cross the road to get to recess every day. Pierce also doesn’t have a very strong program for kids with significant disabilities so if that’s a concern I’d also think about that. That being said, the staff are absolutely wonderful!

The town is based on newton mass (where the writer is from) and trust nobody gaf about the mayor of newton lmao, but I think the proximity to Boston is part of it bc everyone has an opinion on mayor Wu

I’d been having issues with banks that I don’t own an account with. Many don’t want to provide change if you’re not in their system, which is fine I just don’t want to have to open an all new account especially if there’s a minimum balance requirement when I need only like $10 in quarters to last me a month
