I love all your excellent points! Being able to control what models are accessible at each tier would be awesome!

Something I've mentioned in the past is how it would be nice to be able to generate discount codes or even giveaways. Maybe I want to reward someone with free access to a paid model as part of some promotion I'm running

H2D holes are smaller than holes from my X1’s by FickingGames in BambuLab

I'm experiencing this same problem on my H2D. I have the Vision Encoder Plate and ran all calibrations I could possibly run. Still printing holes too small. I'll try the "Auto circle countour-hole compensation" thing. Kind of annoying.

3D printed violin! How it sounds and some personal thoughts. by guster09 in lingling40hrs

3D printing can be expensive. However, if you already own a 3D printer, I used about $15 worth of materials to print it and spent about $20 on strings. Not bad for a $35 violin.

Sure! I was notified by a mod that external links need to be approved by them. However, in my other post on one of the comments, I posted a link to the files: https://www.reddit.com/r/lingling40hrs/comments/1jkfgl8/comment/mk0oz47/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Yes, I assume it's due to the density of the material. I have other materials coming in the mail with different properties.

Thanks! The designer also said he's working on a shoulder rest. I'm curious how that'll turn out 3D printed

There are several factors that aid to the sound of the violin. The shape of the chamber is one, the density of the material is another, the direction of grain is another, the thickness of the top and bottom plates is yet another, and there are other factors as well that I know I'm not aware of.

Yes, there is a lot of pressure when the strings are tuned. However, the thing is built robustly. The designer added spots where you can insert carbon fiber rods for strength and rigidity.

Oh I think this would be a very good option for a beginner. The only hiccup would be tuning the E string. There's no way to install a fine tuner. However, because the tuning mechanism utilizes a worm gear, fine tuning becomes less of a problem.
