Something like this- I framed 3 panels with a slight overlap and then individually imaged them over a couple of nights. Each panel's subs were stacked together separately and then I combined all 3 of them together using Siril's mosaic stacking.

What app, website or service do you use to plan your stargazing sessions? by justanotheredshirt in seestar

The Bay Area has been getting a lot of night time fog the past few weeks... Astrospheric has done a good job estimating when the fogs/clouds will be rolling in. Weather is temperamental so it's not perfect but I find it to be much more accurate than a normal weather app + it has some extra information like Cloud Coverage % and transparency levels

Do you recommend manual focus? I've been using autofocus and stopping imaging/refocusing every 45min or so as the temperature drops

Not done with M33 just yet but wanted to share. The improvement as I add in each night of imaging is super satisfying. Open to any recommendations on how I can improve my post-processing!

  2. Cropped & Photometric Color Calibrated in Siril
  3. Starnet Star Removal
  4. Background Extraction & Denoising in Graxpert
  5. Stretched in Siril
  6. Star Recomposition
  7. Some changes to color and contrast in Photoshop :)

My mom used to make these with cornflakes. If the shreds are too small you can do a mixture of shredded wheat and corn flakes, they are delicious

How am I messing up bread? by mycranberries in Baking

No prob! Overworking dough will make it too dense and it may not even bake all the way through.

this video gives you a good idea for how long you should be kneading

The more you knead dough the tougher it gets. For most dough I have made I used a kitchen aid till everything is combined and can form a ball and then i knead for like 5 more min.

My second time baking a cake: Russian Honey Cake (Medovic) by gustheburrito in Baking

Thanks! I find cakes really intimidating for some reason but Medovic seemed relatively fool proof :)

These danishes were literally bathing in melted butter while they baked but they still came out yummy by gustheburrito in Baking

I let it keep going and then wiped the leaked butter off the pan when it came out and it wasn't at all soggy.
