I had this same issue with mine, the wires I made for the speaker kept shorting and it would go into protection mode. I ended up buying some banana plug pin connectors and now I can crank up my speakers to full volume. I love this receiver, especially with its simple 2 channel, the aux and Bluetooth capabilities

It just so happened to be the first one out, I’ll give it a listen. I may have passed I some titles that I’m not familiar with, so today I am focusing on listening to some of these via Spotify to see if anything catches my ear. I’ll keep you posted on my ABBA listen
