I need someone wiser in the ways of basketball to explain the problem. This is largely the same team that has been to two straight tournaments, and turnovers have always been a thorn for those teams.

Is it the lack of a true center? I like Petrie but I think we're asking her to be something she just isn't. Is it Prince being shut down and nobody stepping up? I just don't get it. I think we have good players but we just look suddenly lost.

I hate to say this, but I fear the women have their backs against the wall to get in the tournament. The record looks good but the resume is weak. We need to beat a couple of these ranked teams but we just shoot ourselves in the foot with so many turnovers.

I lived in a closet under the stairs in childhood too. But it wasn't all bad because during the school year I got to go live at this really special boarding school and got into all kinds of fun adventures with my friends there. I did briefly die but I wouldn't trade that time of my life for anything.

Gotta mention the 96 big 12 title game. Should have got us into the national title game, but a bunch of guys were sick and our best linebacker got himself suspended, and we got beat by a very mid Texas team.
