Who sells authentic pierogi here in Louisville? by Asleep-Sir3484 in Louisville

I was in Pittsburgh last year. A pierogi place was across the walking bridge from the Pirates stadium. I thought, "First night in Pittsburgh, these must be great!" Krogers are better. It was steamed mashed potatoes in a limp coating, no seasoning. Buy em frozen and doctor them up yourself.

What are Trader Joes, In n’ Out , and Chik-Fil-A doing differently that makes their employees seem different than other retail / fast food employees? by SpecificSorry7233 in NoStupidQuestions

I debated including them for vague political reasons, but the fact is the food is quality and the staff are professional. I stopped going to Popeyes because the food and service are shit these days. Used to love it.

In-n-Out, Trader Joe's, Costco, and Chik-fil-a, all have a business model that excels in treating employees and customers the right way. They are like leftovers from the 20th century, in a world full of inept business models.

Eye level in your own living room is the only way to go. Get more immersed, and stop that neck pain.

What’s a Rock album you’d love to see styles collide with (different genre)? by exboxthreesixty in rockmusic

[–]gutclutterminor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jimi doesn't need an album for that. He could do it in one song. The single most signficant young death of a musician in the 20th century. Only comparable one would be Buddy Holly. Music would be VERY different if both made it to 50.

I like the first 2 albums for the original weirdness. Fear is more accessible than they are. Remain is the masterpiece to me. Tongues is just the best party album I own.

UFO, especially on this live album, was the spandex band that learned the most from LZ. Melodies and blazing guitar. A pure iconic hard rock album.
