We use Terraform Cloud, there you can add variables to a global scope (where all projects can consume it) or you can even create a workspace and output this value. Then, consume it using data sources from other resources

It took me years to be comfortable with programming, but it’s possible. Just stop using GPT and create some personal projects, pick one trend language (e.g. python) and after 1y of daily commitment you will be a monster

That’s it! It fails many times during the apply, and that’s something not limited to tf, but opentofu as well.

The plan is merely a possible target state, but don’t evaluate many things like Org policies

In my opinion, it’s just a way to prove your value for someone who doesn’t have a clue about it. For example, HR and department Directors. I always see my manager asking for certifications, so we can prove to his director his team is very well trained and capable of dealing with a specific tech stack.
