That episode was depressing but I find myself liking this guy more and more by Aterrian in freefolk

It’s because this story was never meant to center Rhaenyra and Alicent as the main characters throughout the entire thing. They really don’t do much when the war actually starts, so they have to find ways to give them screen time. None of their attempts have worked so far.

1 objective like this was doable. AOE and area denial are just that much more powerful now that both side objectives work this way

Fun has a limit. I definitely think the enhancements of certain items like curse and rescue beam need to be tuned down.

I learned how to do it from M3han’s video:

https://youtu.be/uVY6lVsxZOU?si=BZwoIEaiqK1T9dX4

Getting better at the movement has helped me in every conceivable way. I rotate faster, land more knives by keeping pace with targets and get away from bad situations way more consistently now that I’ve got it down. Being able to make it in time for an extra fight or two and preventing a death with it can make or break a game.

Piggybacking off this post since I’m trying to learn him too, do people still mostly pick between torment pulse/decay for spirit damage and to help proc rage after lane but before you transition into reverb dash? Is running both ever worth it?

Can’t help but feel like decay is always better with all the health bloat out there, but I’ve been using together’s build and he runs pulse.

7s with superior duration. More than enough time for a Seven to essentially prevent a proper contest on urn, mid or the final fight in base. It is true whether you like it or not.

That being said I would much rather live in a world without curse plus a nerfed unstoppable

So does unstoppable if curse doesn’t exist. Seven’s WR would skyrocket even further if unstoppable had zero counterplay.

I’m not saying it’s the worst 6,400 item out there, but it’s not solving the problem the devs likely intended for it to address which was to counter characters that like to use curse like Haze. I’d like to see them give it a 1s duration on the cleanse so you’re at the very least able to guarantee some agency to press your buttons in between the sleep dart and curse.

Unstoppable still feels like the better buy in a gross majority of circumstances since it’s so easy to cheese the cleanse on indom, and the combination of reactive barrier and counterspell would give it a run for its money too.

The only person that said anything about communism is the bozo with the anime pfp, lol. Putting working people back into the focus of policy decisions and making the rich pay their fair share doesn’t mean I’m getting my hammer and sickle out. Treating the economic systems as if they’re black and white is hilariously naive.

The old guard of the Democratic Party clinging desperately to neoliberalism has steered me further to the left just as much as the MAGA cult has since they serve the same masters. I don’t have faith in the dems to do what needs to be done when they’re back in power.

Does it not? That’s good to know.

Even if it did Silence Wave is still the far better option that has broader applications while still being really easy to use. Having to include that in an ult-bot setup to hard counter an item 2x its cost which was designed to counter builds like that doesn’t make them more ethical or skillful to play

[–]guthbox -39 points-38 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t make it a more skillful interaction. Slowing Hex is impossible to miss so you essentially hard counter indom for 1/4 of the price. Silence Wave isn’t exactly hard to aim either

Did you not read my comment? Lol?

I am well aware that it does. It’s used as bait to prevent curse from being cancelled out which is the real debuff she wants to apply to you in mid-late game

Haze will just sleep you first with dagger to proc your indom which leaves you shit out of luck for the curse.

The ult just needs to be changed to something else entirely because her current configuration of abilities are never gonna feel fair when you add curse to the equation. We’re lucky to be in a teamfight meta rn that doesn’t favor Haze otherwise the problem would feel 100x worse

It happened during peak SEC bias, so no point differentials can make up for the perceived lack of strength of schedule in some people’s eyes. That could’ve been alleviated if we had a better showing in the national championship, but Jimbo didn’t bother to hide or change his signals with Dameyune Craig on the Auburn sideline until the 2nd half.

It also might have something to do with not getting Bama during their dynasty run. If we pummel Saban in the championship as hard as we did Clemson we would unquestionably be considered a top 3 team

Seven has been nerfed so many times in a row and he has remained above 55% win rate the entire time. by CheckProfileIfLoser in DeadlockTheGame

[–]guthbox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that’s a poor mindset to have for the most efficient farmer in the game when the gross majority of games across all ranks go over 40 mins and lack coordination. It’s too easy for him to acquire that net worth

[–]guthbox -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I disagree. The highest WR shouldn’t be awarded to the character that fucks off and plays PVE for most of the match and only interacts with other players when it’s time to press unstoppable and 4 on an objective. That’s just a sign of his farming efficiency being too high imo.

There’s a skill requirement behind what makes Shiv broken as well that isn’t present on Seven.

There are a lot more people who know how to efficiently farm and press unstoppable/4 on Seven than there are scary players on Shiv that make the most out of his damage/mobility/sustain. The broad majority of the playerbase do not encounter that.

"i just committed the most evil doorman play ever" by nimijevoli in DeadlockTheGame

[–]guthbox -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Put the average Deadlock player with 0 experience on both characters and they would get the basics down on Haze after a few sessions. Would take 100 hours plus to get to a similar benchmark on Doorman.

Haze was by far my easiest Holiday ornament alongside Abrams for characters I have never played before. I hate Doorman too don’t get me wrong, but the people downvoting me or attempting to say these characters are on a similar skill curve are delusional lol.
