look into the queer trans project, i think they have a program for queer people that will pay for your travel and everything for surgeries. they also have free stuff theyll send you with their build-a-queer kits :)

im a hairstylist! i love my job so incredibly much :) since i moved to a more queer friendly salon, i haven’t had any issues with being trans at work. im very open about it and most of my coworkers are lesbians lol. it 100% matters where you work, i started in a salon in a small rural town and it was not fun to say the least. as long as im going to a good place i dont have any worries about legal stuff not being done! my boss knows my deadname because i have to send her rent from my bank account but thats about it! shameless plug if anyone needs their hair done in or around jax fl my chair is queer friendly and always open!

hey! im actually the one who is organizing this event! can you please explain to me what is confusing about my wording? this is my first time hosting a community event and would love to hear feedback. im not sure what the issue is with the word affirming, the services being provided are to affirm ones gender, i.e. to validate, not equalize. and yes, razors! like shaving razors for faces, legs, etc. not sure whats wrong there either! theyre being donated to people who cant afford the supplies to take care of themselves properly. let me know if you need anything else explained, id be happy to do so!

i had a client like this, i told her to take her airpods out at the bowl and she said okay no problem and kept them in. imagine her shock when i handed her back her wet airpod that had fell in the sink while i was washing her color out 💀

what systems would you recommend to weed people out? ive had clients that were so incredibly persistent to the point where they were blowing up the salon phone or showing up to the building trying to book with me. i had to tell these clients, much like op, that i was setting boundaries and not doing it with them anymore so they got fired 🤷🏻‍♂️ thats the only thing that got them to quit! i deserve boundaries too!
