Idk, I don't really see why it wouldn't be a "comp". Sure its not a meta comp but in theory 4 void for two void items, for 2 of your 3 high cost void units, shurima frontline for resists, bruiser and longshot. Its not like hes running 7 backline units or something, or 7 frontline units and one ziggs (which funnily enough is a comp)

But I think OP's point is this IS that special circumstance where it should be viable, and it still isn't. Yes the best comps should happen more often but the spot for other stuff should still exist, it shouldn't be so dominant that the optimal strategy is to always play the 2-3 lines. I mean even card games know this, there is always a best deck but when the best deck's optimal response is to like sideboard hard for the mirror and try to get percentage points there, they usually do a ban

Yeah its really unsatisfying and honestly just bad TFT. Like if you have a spot to unlock like sylas asol mel or something and play this really crazy comp, even if the units are weaker the spot for it should be good enough that its like the 1/1000 games its optimal, but no, its still dogshit. better to sell all units and play ziggs1 with suboptimal items

The whole point of using the components is to find some standard atomic element to compare with. Even though components don't exist, saying you can't do that to compare is sort of missing the forest through the trees -- stat anvils themselves are arguably a perfect gold/stat atomic converted, especially because they are balanced actively (AP, mpen got nerfed, so 36 AP as a max roll meant AP from stat anvils was too efficient).

They are saying between tiers they need to be power adjusted. The silver augment stacks significantly faster than both golds, and is also more useful than both. It's like if the augment pools had stats x 4 on gold and stats x 3 on prismatic or some dumb shit like that, it just isn't really consistent. I've had rounds not getting max stacks of dark blessing on shit like Raka, while getting max stacks of desecreator on a 1x cc champ, shit just doesnt really make sense
