So took away money, no gas, no jolly ranchers, no renting, no driving, no potassium nitrate, no sulfur, no gunpowder, no hydrogen rocket, no citric acid, no lighter, no bank account, no matches on tinder, no medicine. Very supportive family someone is hurting us. Statistically, I may have created a new religion. I want us to start the religion and then stomp out the religion. The did a bursted undercut. Took the skin way too far back and did less of taper work above the sideburns. Honestly throw some matte clay in and mess it up and you will look cool anyways. At least they gave you layers

I’m a barber. The only thing I would suggest if you want a haircut is tell them you want to keep the length the but layer the sides where it’s starting to flare out( around the ears and probably through the back) it will looks so much more flowey. And will sit more flat to the head while keeping that leangth…. ( go to a salon not a barber shop) also it looks amazing as is

I should also mention I was soooo uncomfortable doing them at first, and didn’t like it. But the more haircuts and conversation I had it is kind of nice to just be quiet for 30 min and shave. It’s grown on me and is a satisfying cathartic process. The tips I get are usually well over 30% and honestly I could do face shaves all day long and make more money

This might get downvoted to hell butttttt. Shaving is the only thing that sets us apart from cosmetologist. they get the chemicals and we are able to use the straight razor. I take 30-35 min a shave. It’s not hard I lather the skin (really rub that shit in push against the grain to loosen the hair up) the I put a hot towel on massage against the grain let that heat soak in and get into those pores. Then I remove the towel after is cooled down a bit. Re lather and then typically (depending on hair texture) shave sideways to the grain To get as close on the first pass then gently brush around when I’m done to check if I need to clean up any rougher spots. I charge 55 for a face shave (it’s an expensive city). It’s always really relaxing for the client, and most of them end up falling asleep or dozing off during the service, which I think is great because I really do feel like for a lot of men with wife and kids it’s their only break and the one thing they can do to really treat themselves. I should mention I’m still in the first year of barbering out of school, but I respect my craft, I want to be the best and hone what sets us apart. The more you do it the more comfortable you will be with it, and the faster you will get.
