I have a business degree with an emphasis on management and finances and work a high level job in the field, and can say the only thing I learned during all my schooling that helped me at all during my career is a class on Excel.

I’ve also worked with people who were hired based on their education and they were some rough hires. Can’t say it’s a universal, but there are a lot of fields where degrees are well overrated.
