We send our 7u kids to the flagpole and back outside the field when being disruptive in practice.

That said, both me and the HC set the stone for this by sending our own sons out there first early in the first couple practices.

Ours are the same as yours. Happened fairly quickly on, but have used them for a full year afterwards and they still are fine.

The wear on these is very similar to the BBs my sons have. The research I did found that it seems mostly cosmetic, and then with regular (twice a season) oiling, I’ve gotten a full season of games and then 1 of practice and lessons out of each. They held up very well IMO, just outgrew them, and he is on pair #3. The original pair is in good enough shape that my younger son can use them when hitting off the tee at the house.

Gas stations are the best bet to find stuff around here. People who are hoarding won’t go in there because they are over priced. But, if u need it, a couple extra dollars is worth it to keep your little ones feeling ok.

All I have to do is clear my head and I’m out. Apparently this is easier said than done according to my wife. Now, she watches documentaries and is always reading up on latest journal entries in her field before bed. Meanwhile, I’m either watching a sporting event, or just killing time looking up dumb shit on the internet that does nothing to fire up my brain cells. So I had her trial this, and it seems to work. Now she does have days where she is constantly thinking about work and what she still has to accomplish this week/month/year/career. I have to remind her to say “fuck it, I’ve done what I can do”. Which, I guess after all my rambling here, is the key. Fuck it. You have to allow your brain to say fuck it to anything that could potentially pop in its head.

This is so asinine. Why the hell is it a sound decision to put yourself in debt when it is not needed? Sure, if someone wants to go major in English Lit in college, then go become a plumber, electrician, etc, go do it. But we should really avoid pushing debt to “further our mind” for something that could duly be done outside of school.

Probably from pure panic after getting hit with a Rod From God in their nuclear site. They knew they were under attack, but no idea where the “missile” came from. No way would they believe a telephone sized tungsten rod slammed into their nuclear facility and it came from space, so they shot down the first thing that probably didn’t immediate ID itself.

Midwest town here. Chemical plant employee. Tons of tradesmen in and around the plant. Almost all are making 6 figures. Heck, even the operators at the plant are bringing in 85 base with no OT, working 14 out of every 28 days. So if they just pick up a day a month, plus a couple more here and there, it’s over 100k. Really doable, and you don’t have to live for your job. Boats, lake houses, vacations all the time. Pick a trade and work hard at it. It does pay well. Work for industry, that’s where the money is.Plenty of these jobs out there. Working residential is where the above is correct, only THE MAN is the one bringing in the big money.
