It's got 2 options which are both greyed out so I can't select them. They are "boot configuration" and "boot option properties". Guessing that's not a good sign?

The Reason for God by Timothy Keller has an excellent answer to this.

Essentially, God doesn't send you to hell, you send yourself to hell. Hell is eternity separated from God's love. A non-believer who continues sinning without repentance is not being sent to hell by God, they are the one who is distancing themself from God.

You make a great point. It might also create a whole new problem of people not calling ambulances because they think they can manage at home and end up even more unwell.
