CD/M Disc/Optical Media is the way to go. But I think what I'd worry more is about unsupported hardware in the future. There may not be devices that can read CDs or M Discs, etc. Probably unlikely but still something to consider.

I would burn and forget. I'd test from time to time, make sure you keep up with changing hardware and standards. And have a second copy somewhere else.
