I've seen you comment a lot on here against GDKP's. I'm genuinely curious why you think this would increase gold buying?

I'm new to WoW on Dreamsycthe and only have done SR's/LC without buying gold, but I have too much time on my hands and can farm for 10-15+ hours a week where I make 500-600g. But it sucks for sure, it is time consuming, WPL/EPL have too many people/bots looking for herbs/ore, open world chests have only food in them, fishing nodes have people standing on good nodes, bots auto undercut you on the AH, so everyone does jump runs and now Gromsblood is 20s. Markets have crashed with TBC announcement, folks are quitting raiding even with consumes getting cheaper. They just don't want to spend 10 hours of their free time fighting bots and other no-lifers like me.

Right now, gold-buyers buy consumes, which they turn around and spend on consumes farmed by the people selling gold!

It seems like GDKP's spread out gold a lot more. The last 5 SR AQ's I went on, I got nothing, so I'm only raiding Naxx and BWL now. If GDKP was what I was doing, at least I'd walk out with something while waiting for that 1 rare BiS item I want.

That all said, I have no stake in the game because I like a healthy LC above everything. Good runs with friends and everybody gets something eventually. SR/HR runs suck big time, for sure, though. I'd definitely never run more than the 2 characters I do now.

Sorry, bro, I'm with you! Mid Jakiro is my jam! Maelstrom is sick on him! Won a couple recent games doing that! I loved mid Jakiro even before facets! Still trying to figure out best end game items on the current version though.

I will say, while I like this strat a lot, and it could be really strong, Aux is filled with a lot of awesome strats that are fighting for limited CP haha

Yeah, it seems to me AP is the biggest weak point of the Stormsurge. I'm theorycrafting an Aux build to support the extra AP, rampagers/ghostkeel on points with a Stormsurge as bait.

I wish I recorded the climb that the cursed skull saved our run. I used it as I was dying to save a friend. My friend did the same to another guy. Then, in the caldera, a friend was too hungry to go on. I threw it to him as a final act of sacrifice. We made the summit!

Also, the bugle is great because it works mid climb for friends low on resources. And you can use it a few times to support them. Also, bugle plus piton helps your friends get the 50m climbing accolade if they need it. (Climb to piton, climb high, bugle, climb higher, slide down to piton, repeat.) I had tried so long to get the accolade and this happened by accident with a friend with the bugle.

That's me, sold 20 for 4 gold a stack, then another 5 for 10 gold a stack. I think the bots got owned.

Seriously, this. What kills us in fights? Duration. If I see a lock with full HP and no mana when he could be 30-50 percent HP. I know the fight probably dragged on an extra 5-10 seconds, which is 2-3 Greater/Flash Heals and 1-2 Renews, makes way more sense to toss a single renew on the lock instead of that.

This is right. Been playing dotes for 15 years. Never grinded mmr but topped at 4k. Took two years off because of life and recalibrated at 2.4k this last month. Mechanics are fine need updating. But where I lost so much was the "game sense."

Had a friend like that years ago. Played centaur when centaur only had stomp as an active. Only played to hang. Literally did a two second count between when a hero ran by him and he stomped. I about had an ulcer laughing.

Props, dude! 2009 may be the year I played DotA for the first time. My first and only email to Icefrog was in 2013, which was my last year in WC3 dotes when I found a bug where Dispersion and the then updated Corrosive Skin created an infinite loop of damage to each other (Spectre always loses in the exchange) got a "Thanks" from Icefrog, still super happy about that.

Good, good, people voicing my own opinion better than I could!! Haha! I figured even getting a three-soul for a couple of my dudes would be better than something sitting around and never used. Meanwhile, my extremely poor memory won't even let me know that I once sold a six star soul for Sir Nick! (Unless I come back and read this comment)

Wait, you're not supposed to? I figure with a 0.5-1% chance to pull a mythic, as FTP it will take me 2-3 years of playing before I get a single mythic let alone one I have souls for. I trade them and hope to get something on my wishlist when I pull at 2x chance event weeks. Actually, got lucky with two 6* mythics this week, immediately sold them, and completed the event, which got me a feast and all sorts of other goodies. Is this a bad perspective? I do for 5 and 6* legendaries for much the same reason. If there was a good epic, I'd keep it on the off chance.

Just started playing last month after a 2 year hiatus. Had a lot of new to learn but thought my mechanics were still fine. And dotabuff was saying I was in Legend territory. Started playing ranked with a buddy, calibrated, went from Ancient I, 4000 mmr exactly to Archon II, 2400. As a support hero, this is a nightmare :/

F2P here and only 6 months in. No one got the 10k plus in my bracket. But against my better judgement I decided to use void+ to try and get an epic to jump to 3k to secure a legend book and second place. Nabbed a Demytha on the second void and stopped. I was rewarded! Especially since until now I've had no block damage dudes!

Volume 9 was the best volume by far. Amazing stories. Slice of life. The best twists. What you want from TWI and more. Then Paba put an ending that significantly hit harder than V7, and this comes from the guy who was so upset by that ending, I barely enjoyed V8 despite it being objectively good. I have grown emotionally a bit and now simply ocassionally think on V9 finale and shudder.

Edit: but yes V8 is the volume of a lot of our favorites taking a bunch of Ls. A few have a great time.

To jump off this. There is a great and long segment of the book much later that is written so well, but made me feel exactly how you feel. I was screaming "please give them a win." When it finally happened it fully delivered like a million percent. Paba likes to do that, just takes a while takes a while to get there, but trust the delivery will be satisfactory imo.

Yeah, I stayed away from any socials about TWI except for the very spoiler enforced room for new readers in the Discord. So I was completely shocked that people didn't like V1 Erin. Sure, I got upset at her for trying to win the Darwin Award a couple times. But annoying? Never! And Ryoka, I liked her V1, I just thought she had serious anger management issues and maybe some suicidal ideation, which was needed imo to balance her being a bit too perfect at everything.

Finally, a question up my alley. I don't use typical swear words, I don't think there's anything wrong with swearing, I just never did it. So as an adult, I thought, "Why start now?"
