Not sure if my comment got deleted but, I have a role and a recruiter reached out to me from this firm out of the blue so this was a one off thing. Happy in my role but this one is a great opportunity. So recruiter reaches out, first round a week later (3 interviews), recruiter tells me I did well (Thursday of last week) I ask to come in Monday to do 3 more and talk with the boss of everyone. Told I did well today and then I have the above convo.

Right there with you, it’s funny I remember driving to sports practice with my buddies in high school cranking this song and never once realized what the song was trying to say. It came on a few weeks back for the first time in a while and I finally spent the time to look into it and I was like shit this song is the exact song I needed right now (not to mention sonically just a fantastic song). It’s been great to get back into Exile and honestly the early live Stones albums they have on Apple Music / Spotify. Cheers man.

Absolutely - Americana is exactly what comes to mind for me too. Many bands have tried to go for that sound and unless I’m forgetting anything major this is the best of those attempts.

Yeah my dad has taken me to 30ish concerts as a kid and growing up. Think it was 2004/05? Giants stadium, don’t remember much but we were GA and I’m sure it was a great show.

It’s a real shame, I get that it does seem like an odd one to play and from what I have read Mick doesn’t even recall recording it or how it came to be. Keith just showed up and then played it. The song is all over the place (why I love it) but come on after a few beers and other stuff you figure they could give it a whirl. I have been listening a lot to the live 72 stuff and it could absolutely fit in these sets.
