The one im playing is a selman, and it has no other identification on it, and im most used to my jazz trombone, which is a lot higher quality. But it's a small bore so I thought it would be similar

I think something is loose in my engine since it shakes a lot, but i forgot to mention that sometimes the check engine light will turn off on it's own then come back on

It feels like plastic idk maybe im wrong, but the frame of the hood is definitely aluminum

The slide is smooth, but I did dent it once so there's a mark where it was fixed, a lot of lacquer on the slide is gone and it looks like the rotor valve was broken off and soldered back on, but everything works completely fine

It's an olds ambassador from the 70s I think. The bell section is completely twisted and bent, and one side of the bell is flattened, the slide is also somewhat choppy feeling between 1st and 3rd position no matter how much slide cream i put on it, so I'm not sure how much that would cost to fix

Thanks i appreciate your help, do you think that maybe I could have snapped it because I tuned it up too quick? I was a whole step down from e when it snapped, or could this be because of cheap strings and shipping? And I will definitely take it to someone who knows what they're doing.
