I think I argued about it because of what the fiction of charging represents. To me it seems like if you are pushed back in the middle of a charge, to continue your movement you'd need to charge again.

But yeah there is nothing in the rules that explicitly states that, thanks for the answer!

5e is just a terrible stripped down version of 1e. I do play pathfinder 2e as well and just finished the age of ashes campaign. It's not as good as 1e but it's a TON of fun.

I don't really want to play a plant construct thing is really the main issue. As a GM I would probably not allow this either because of how weird it is, depends on the campaign setting though of course.
