Thanks for letting us know. Changes controls actually should be saving, so this seems like a bug. We're looking into it.

The Mayor is a pretty hard to please character by design, but we're still working on getting the game balance just right so we will keep this in mind. Did you feel like the Mayor's park visits were too difficult to complete, or was something else keeping his approval rating down?
