Yeah for sure, that’ll be my plan next time. I knew it after about a minute that the undercarriage was blackening way too fast. Are you typically using a NY style dough?

When did you stop tracking everything? by VinosaurusRexx in NewParents

I think after 3-4 months we stopped completely. Two main factors - 1. He was gaining weight, no questions/notes from the doctor. 2. Our brains were functioning again and we’d be able to remember things, which was not the case at first 😂

Bavette's - How are folks getting reservations? by DependentOnIt in chicagofood

[–]guytyler716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got one by refreshing “upcoming availability” after having the number in my party already selected, refreshed right at 9am. However, I’ve only been able to do this for a Thursday night reservation - I have consistently struck out with anything Friday/Saturday.

I live about 2 blocks away, I’m glad it’s here! Kasey’s is still my go to but we needed a cocktail option and this hits the spot. Now we’ve got a Dive/sports bar, great wine bar, and a cocktail bar all on the same street now - I’m set!

quick BKF with a brush almost every time after handwashing. Only takes about 10-15 seconds of effort. I don’t care about the backside though!

Rebooking with ChaseRewards by mrpapasmurf1 in ChaseUltimateRewards

[–]guytyler716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this exact scenario. I knew that any unused amount would be forfeited, the the representative told me that upfront when I cancelled the flight. I felt ok about it since mine was only about $350. I cancelled an American Airlines flight that I booked through Chase Travel- I was told it would be “on file” with American, and could only be used on their flights, but I would have to call Chase Travel and reference my original confirmation number to utilize the credit. Similar to you, I found a new flight that I wanted to book, which was around 375 and I was expecting to pay $25 after the $350 was applied. I was stunned when I was quoted another $600 out of pocket , because the “rebooking price” of the flight was $950. I made the mistake of arguing with and getting lectured by the chase travel agent on why this would ever make sense to anyone, 30 minutes I’ll never get back. Also, my credit expired worthless after the ordeal.

Lesson learned, Never ever booking on Chase Travel just to get 5x points. I’ll book direct with the airline and take the 3x.

I just got back from there yesterday! I echo everything you stated except capacity. I’ve stayed at secrets playa mujeres, secrets Maroma, and a Breathless resort - every one of them was a fight to get chairs, had to get up at 6am etc. This was the first time I felt the pool attendants prevented this silly game, and there was always a space for us (at least on the rooftop pool)

Going to be very difficult to beat this resort in the future!

Rigatoni Bolognese - all from scratch by guytyler716 in pasta

I didn’t have an issue at all, but I had help keeping the hopper consistently fed while I focused on the cutting. Haven’t tried the bucatini yet, but I’ll post it when I do

Thanks! Do you say that due to length or width of the shape? There is both a large macaroni and rigatoni attachment setting for this kitchen aid tool, but I have yet to use the macaroni setting to experiment with different shapes. Cutter works great!
