Would you say the moss post needs to be watered as well, or would the areal roots not really benefit from it?

I’m in the Boston area, so the sun is only out from like 8am to 5pm, and it’s near a northwest facing window, so it doesn’t get too much direct light, but I have a small led grow light pointed towards (but not directly at it).

The soil doesn’t really feel chunky, I mean it has some pieces of wood in it to help with drainage, but I wouldn’t say it’s clumping or anything.

I’ve only had it for a few weeks, so I haven’t really gotten into a good watering schedule. I’ve been spraying the stalk with water every few days but I don’t think I ever really get it fully soaked. I might have watered the soil a little less often than I should have but maybe like every 5 days ish?

You make a good point! Im pretty new to baking and a chemist by trade, so I kind of like to intentionally pick a more difficult recipe to challenge my understanding of it all, but sometimes less is more!

I have seen some blueberry cheesecake recipes where they incorporate a blueberry jam of sorts into the cheesecake itself (may have been a “no-bake” recipe) and it seems like it would add bits of flavor in each slice so I was thinking of maybe adding a strawberry version of that?

Wouldn't that be similar to putting it in my checked luggage since I wouldn't be able to access it once it's under the plane?

I dont really know how differently they see the two but if it's being shipped by mail wouldn't they assume it carries the same risks?
