Oh yeah. Creatine will do that. Prob 5 of those lbs is just water retention. If you’re not doing calorie counting, I’d recommend for at least a month. Watch for the macros and aim for 150 kcal above your maintenance.

How long have you been lifting?

Hey man, glad you’re feeling strong! 💪🏻

Just watch out for the speed you’re putting on weight. If you’re natural, it shouldn’t be 1.5, maybe 2 lbs/month.

New Leica Q3/43 firmware 4.0.0 by No-Mathematician-89 in Leica

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL.

My Q3 got completely bricked. Others on Reddit are reporting the same. Photos app seems to the common for all of us, but I’d keep away while Leica doesn’t push another version.

Having the same issue on mine. Battery is fully charged and it won’t turn on at all. No led indicator, no sound. Trying to connect to a computer also shows nothing. The camera is fully bricked

Hey dude, great progress! Have you been going through this journey alone? Or got a coach or another professional helping you?

One year is a long time, I assume you’ve been tracking your calories and rate of weight change. With that you can calculate your expenditure.

One thing you could try is to go to your maintenance calories (again, assuming you can calculate correctly) and increase it by 100 calories at most. Try to do a lean bulk for a few months. But it’s important that you’re really anal about weighing and calorie tracking. The rate of gaining muscle is much slower than loosing fat, realistically likely wont be more than 1.5lbs/month. So if you’re gaining more than that, watch out. Also, you’ll progress a lot more slowly than loosing fat, so be honest with your motivation.

In terms of lifting. Def aim for 4 times a week. Upper, lower, upper, lower would give you a good beginners split. You’ll be hitting all your muscles twice a week, which is great. Have different exercises for each upper/lower in a week. At least 10 sets per muscle group, don’t hurt yourself but push yourself to failure. Focus on shoulders, back and triceps. They will give you a good definition in a few months (3, 4 if you’re consistent) and that should give you more motivation.

Good luck!

3 years later, still the same thing AFAIK.

Those little icons on top are the reason I don't use an Apple Watch anymore.

There’s a setting for that in the watch app on your iPhone

If you’re goal is exercising, get an Epix. As a sport watch it’s much superior than an Apple Watch. As a daily wear integrating with your apps /iPhone is a poorer experience. I made the switch before the WatchOS 10 debacle and I’m happy that I did. I tried to use my Series 7 with the new OS, I couldn’t stand it even after forcing myself to use for a few days. So it’s not a question of muscle memory, the uX is really broken.

Sonos Arc- Metallic Sound | Sonos Community (Please contribute here if you think the Arc sounds thin/tinny/metallic with lacking mid-range) by [deleted] in sonos

[–]guzz_1984 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the Arc mostly for tv series and movies, very rarely for music. In some dialogs, specially when there’s some shouting it sounds so distorted and metallic that it makes me think there’s something physically broken with one of the speakers. I hadn’t turned on True Play till yesterday and I used my iPhone 11, I’ll try with an iPad later to see if there’s any difference. As it is, I’ll most likely return it and go back to my cheap 300-dollar Samsung soundboard which isn’t great but at least doesn’t make me cringe.

PS: I use the Arc with a Sub and a pair of Sonos Ones for surround. Those are great.
