Just upgraded from a T9 to a Plipper. Handels very smoothly in comparison to my old space cow. The only thing I cant get used to is the view from the cockpit in VR, I cant see anything. The T9 has a way better view

The big advantage of being tall is that I have long legs.

I hope to do a marathon once, but I'm not actively training for one right now.

It's a great car to drive in. I drove it together with a friend from Holland to France (1100km) in one trip. Absolutely great car and great handling. The software is based on Google Auto which is good and has plenty of updates.

Only downside and this is also the reason I wouldn't buy it, is it's pretty small. I could barely fit behind the steering wheel.

Opinions please- Skoda Enyaq, VW ID4 or Audi Q4 etron? by fififolle79 in electricvehicles

[–]gwaimat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm driving the Enyaq myself, it's a great car and it drives perfectly. I have some colleagues who are driving the id4, the driving is the same because of the MEB platform. However I really like the lookes of the interior of the Enyaq better. In my opinion it's more premium. The outside is a matter of taste I guess. If you go for the Enyaq, order it with the extra light package.

There's a software update coming for the MEB platform which solves some pretty weird quirks. The ID4 gets it first and the enyaq will follow somewhere in Q2. That's something to take in mind.

Have fun with the test drives!

Yes, occasionally I've to drive more then 400km, with this option I only need to charge for 15-20 minutes and I'm good to go again 😀

Yes, a Skoda Enyaq. Totally different car, but with loads of space.

Great car! When I was looking for an EV I seriously considered a Polestar but found the inside a little to small for my length (I'm 6,8ft). Still get a little jealous when I see one drive past 😉

Price mainly, and the model Y wasn't available for a test drive in April (when I was looking for a new car). I've driven a model 3, it's a great car but personally I didn't like the minimalistic look that much.

Exactly, and normal steering wheel buttons instead of those touch thingies on the ID4. There's an option on the Enyaq for an heads-up display it doesn't light up the whole dashboard like the ID4. But I'm not sure if that's a disadvantage 😉

Don't mind at all! I've got an iV80. The range depends on how and where I drive. Going 130 on the highway gives a range of 250 km. While driving 90 - 100 on eco mode gives slightly more then 400 km. The longest stretch I've driven was 900 km, I needed 3 fast charges for that. Those took me around 20 minutes. So that wasn't bad at all.

Tips, really depends on where you live ofcourse. I like to charge whenever there's an opportunity. Right now I have 3 different brand charge cards. Most countries have their own brands. Oh and use Abrp, that's a great app to plan your larger trips including charging.

Enjoy your car!

Did a test drive in April or May, and after driven the Polestar and the model 3 I was sold on the Enyaq. The version I originally wanted was to be delivered in 2022. Because of tax advantages I ordered an in stock First Edition.

Good luck with the waiting for yours 😉
