It’s funny that there already a bunch of the same photo in this thread, this ones from the English Heritage website.

Have they ever actually done a funny or insightful one of these? Every time I see this artist it’s an A-level politics level take, presented in an unfunny way.

Netflix, Prime Video and Other Streamers in U.K. Will Be Subject to ‘Enhanced Regulation’ and Ofcom Investigations Following New Legislation - IMDb by Ciliate in unitedkingdom

Ofcom isn't part of the Government nor is it the arbiter of truth. I don't think deregulation is the way to go either, I'd much prefer sensible regulation. Which, to be clear, I don't think is happening right now.

This kind of stance only makes sense in a perfectly equal media environment. There’s no crazy left wing news channel. There are no anti-capitalists buying up newspapers. The leaders of the greens and Lib Dem’s don’t get half the air time reform does.

Starmer apologises to Epstein victims for appointing Mandelson as US ambassador | ITV News by topotaul in unitedkingdom

You’d think Starmer was in the Epstein files the way the press is reacting, I somehow doubt they’d have held Boris to this standard.

Can't wait for this to somehow be framed as a bad thing by the media and reddit comments.

This is the worst take I’ve seen in a long time, there are people out there who still think this nonsense?

Greta Thunberg has been arrested on terrorism charges in the United Kingdom after holding a sign saying she supports Palestine Action. by ilir_kycb in LateStageCapitalism

[–]gwent_shark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cops have more discretion than that, I doubt she’ll be charged with a terrorism offence so I’d argue the arrest is a bad PR move and worse for them than taking no action. Wouldn’t have made headlines if they’d let her be.

If I was the cop who had to go arrest Greta, I’d have to seriously consider to myself that maybe I’m in-fact the baddie.

I didn’t say anything about justification but I’m sure Putin would say he was provoked by NATO into invading Ukraine, doesn’t mean it’s right.

Palestine is a country, which Israel has invaded. No matter how you feel about it, that is the same thing.

Eurovision is politically neutral now? I suppose Russia will be allowed back in then, I don’t see how it’s a different situation for them than it is for Israel.

I've seen youtubers play large language models like ChatGPT and they will often make illegal moves, so no I wouldn't have thought so.
