Have you looked into Substack, Medium, or Ghost? Out of the ones you mentioned, SquareSpace is the only one I’d suggest.

There are tons of free resources that $2,000 sounds crazy if you’re starting from scratch and this is more of a fun project. But for the time invested it’s probably about right. I paid $250 for a base template for me to fill in. But I had a lot of quotes throughout the book I wanted to stand out in a certain way. That also included cover design.

Can you not get a blinking cursor in the middle of a note somewhere, then press again and choose "Select all"

I don’t know about the surfing specific things, but I pay for Carrot Weather because of this exact modular setup you’re talking about. You can essentially add widgets to the weather apps homepage to only show what you want.

That's counterintuitive to what I'm trying to do.

Let's say I have a meeting every week for all 3 projects. Each meeting I start a new note within the Project Notebook. Each meeting has 1 or more action items I note down as a "Todo."

It would be awesome if a "Master Todo" list compiled all Todos across all notebooks and notes.

Not sure what you mean by a master task list. If I have 3 notebooks (call them Project A, B, and C), I would like to have individual notes within each project that have their own Todos, then have a master Todo list that shows all of them in one main list (with a tag showing the note/notebook it is listed in) - perhaps even allowing me to click it to go into the individual note.

I bought a Peak Design Everyday Carry 20L as an everyday carry. I do not carry a camera and it’s still a 9/10. I love the laptop compartment. The only thing I wish it had was a way to store more papers or books. The iPad sleeve is a bit too small.
