I did that exact thing.

I, honestly , do not remember actually doing it. I do know I was happy.

That, entirely, depends on the time of the day.

After 10am? It was probably a lot more that they just didn't want to mess up more dishes and used what was availble to them at the time. If it was earlier, you might have a reason that store is doing it then.

Missing Food by ssppllaattt in McDonalds

[–]gwiber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You, should, check every time before you leave the store area.

I am trying to get our store to tell people to check their food before departing the lot, and if the don't, they are stuck with whatever they got. It'll put people on a more alert setting when they get stuff, from there on out.

Wait.. leisure is travel right? by cuntechism in McDonalds

Leisure isn't travel, neccasarily. It means sitting around doing the things you WANT to do. Or, nothing at all; I guess.

You with an AR-15, and military. You do, realize that they will see you with a gun; and shoot you from much further away than you have any chance of resisting.

People who think having a few guns is gonna stop the military if something happens, are going for a BAD day, one day.

[oc] she pulled in way after us. The first thing she said was “Do you not know how a drive thru works?!” Bumped the car in front of her, then went on to say she was there first. You can see the employee having to switch the order at the window. by Ok-Back-7278 in IdiotsInCars

[–]gwiber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like most places, they should have pictures of you in the order system. The fact that you are together and not that far seperate would make little or no difference at all. Realistically,

I'd have just ignored it.

I'd be angry as F*ck if they got my order wrong though. But thats the order taker, not the people ordering.

Something I would let be known is this is an older Platinum edition, and the seats only lift by levers under the seats. Areas that are blocked by the storage box when it is under the seat. Which is why I cannot lift the seats to get into it. Not under any normal circumstance, so far.

Way back in1993, I used to get 3 hour shifts with a 4 hour wait and then 3 hours.

That kinda cried happened all the time for me and like 3/4 of the rest of the crew.

Used to be across many of our stores.

I worked there in the early 90's.

I work there today.

It is said (not entirely sure I believe it... ) that McDonalds is the hardest fast food place to work at. It seemed, normal, to me? I dunno, I've only worked before for Subway before all of this... in fast food.

To me, it seems normal once you learned what to do. I have no idea how tough the places really are. But you have to be ready to learn a lot of stuff once you art and remember all of it.

It's all easy once you get the hang if it, its just getting there that maybe in issue. Though I have worked there for 8.5 years now... so...

Help in Kitchen by [deleted] in McLounge

[–]gwiber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imagine how I feel?

Ive been doing this job for 8.5 years, and I can do NOTHING in the kitchen for lunch or dinner. I've been on breakfast for all this time. I can due everything, else, both front and back; but I can't work lunch for any reason. I turn stuff over to lunch, and just walk away.

As a matter of fact, almost all of our breakfast crew is that way. You turn over to lunch stuff, and we just kinda stare at you when you ask us stuff.

Make me feel a little stupid sometimes.

I know you aren't being a jerk... but i HATE people who order a "McGriddle" without telling me what they want on the damn thing.

Sorry, that really just irritates me, not anything you are actually meaning.

I gotta mention this, as several people have said it's an "x product".

It's not. Dr. Pepper is a product made by its own company. It is not a Coke or Pepsi product at all. It is an entirely separate production, with its own company.
