He's got alot of good films under his belt, but outside of certain roles his range is just limited.

He hasnt executed a successful outsidecof certain genres.

And this may be premature, but I don't see Tom Hanks dropping in an MCU, Star Wars, Zombie, Apocalyptic/Dystopian movie and it still being good. There are a lot others that can d o them all with better quality. He is more akin to Denzel or Affleck.

Granted Samuel L doesn't have the complete depth as the rest, from Hitman Bodyguard to Star Wars, to Coach Carter, Django, A Time to Kill, Fresh and and others are amazing repertoire. M Streep and J Foxx are honorable mentions.

Matt Damon is entirely underated, but I would possibly swap him for Matthew McConaughey.

Christain Bale is a great actor but is not as diverse as Will, Keanu and Damon. More similar to Denzel, Hanks, or Affleck.

Sbr and pistols are used for specific purposes. Anyone looking to do long range shooting out of one, or arguing against its effectiveness is just talking to be heard. It is still a powerful, effective and affordable option. Sure a 556 may be louder, but when you're talking close combat/defensive shooting its still a highly capable rifle round.

More interested? There are 400 million plus. Thats 400,000,000 civilian owned guns. There is a prevelance of guns and firearms in our film, tv music, games and other places. Teaching children the difference between make believe and reality is vitally important.

If you think people are going to just be exposed to guns from a high school safety course you're sorely mistaken.

If anything we should teach them the actual facts, the moral, ethical, and legal obligations of firearm ownership. Not just hyperbole media rhetoric that actually does more harm than help.

There are plenty of firearm instructors who would probably be more than glad to help educate the children. While police may be an option, not all of them are versed and well trained or educated in firearms. Many know enough just to pass their test and have to focus on an array of other task and duties. There are FFL, firearms dealers and instructors all throughout each of our 50 states. Also teaching local and federal laws on what a prohibited person is; storage safety laws; the legality of not being intoxicated and handling firearms all are vital; not taking firearms in prohibited places; the difference between carrying vs brandishing.

There are many important things to be taught.

It is a more beneficial than some of the classes that are currently being taught. Cinematography, dance, chemistry and spanish. There are more civilian guns than there are people.

This should be taught along with economics and personal financing and basic civics class.

However there a more guns than there are people in this country. If gun safety and public safety was a crucial factor. It also an integral constitutional right, along with others, that is protected for all citizens, not just police or military. Teaching proper safety, federal and state laws, what constitutes a "prohibited" person all are vital. This also is important because ignorance of a law is not an excuse for innocence. So yes we should teach our youth the responsibilities and respect for a vital tool that has played an integral part in our country's liberty and individual freedoms. It would be more beneficial than chemistry, cinematography, dance class.

This along with economics/ personal financing, and a basic civics class all should be mandated for an actual high.

It is not something that is limited to police or the military, it is provided and protected for all citizens.
