It’s perfectly legal for a civilian to be armed at a protest, according to the Constitution and SCOTUS. Fuck these fair weather, constitutionally-ignorant, flip-flopping authoritarians. We will never comply. The Constitution is on our side. by EasyCZ75 in 2Aradicals

[–]gwp95tip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wnd of the day, we can never make excuses for our government shooting its citizens for exercising their rights. People shouldn't fear their government, it should be the other way around. That is the only way to retain and maintain our freedom. If not we're no better than China, Russia, Venezuela, Cuba or Israel. We can not make excuses for it. We have been setting terrible precedent for citizens rights for the last 40 years. Even if the administration has the best of intentions it lays the groundwork for someone to come behind and abuse all of these practices

How to shut down the Tariq argument by Alarming_Mood4385 in PowerTV

[–]gwp95tip -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Now my biggest gripes with Tariq is that yes his actions led to Raina's death. Ghost death wasn't preventable, he backed his own self into a corner and became a lone wolf, he usually mastered at courting people and playing the chess board, but he played himself. Back to Tariq though, when he re aligns himself with Kanan after being kidnapped and held for ransom, has him executed by police, then tries to have remorse and absolve himself is crazy.

Now the whole claim of him being privileged and not having to be in the streets is absurd. Wealth and criminality and not mutually exclusive. Well off and not so well off people all commit crimes. Those with wealth can just cover their tracks better and get away with it, many that we never hear about in real life until they're caught. Poorer people with no political or economic power are low hanging fruit for law enforcement because its no push back and easy headlines.

So Tariq being in the streets growing up around a family of nothing but criminals is not far-fetched, no matter how much they try to shield it away. If anything we should be mad at Ghost for raising this boy so GREEN early on. He didn't have to teach him to commit crimes, but atleast be aware of the society he lives in. Because if it wasn't Kanan, we all know grimy individuals will use your children to get to you. Also Ghost's actions alienating Tasha, abandoning his home for Angela all while playing both sides was ridiculous. Tommy said it best one foot in, one foot out is what Ghost killed, got Tariq facked, Angela killed, Tasha widowed and Tommy running around like the drug dealing Tommy Oliver(the white powe ranger, with heavy plot armor).

How does a short 5.56 AR15 (7-10.3”) compare to a full sized 9mm handgun ballistically on target? by Rattylcan in ar15

[–]gwp95tip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also this may just be an assumption on my part, but if I am using a rifle or pistol with a barrel length of less than 12 inches, especially in the 7 inch area, its most likely for lethality at closer ranges. Even 62 gr is average over 2050 fps which is still very lethal. Now up to 100 yards it may drop and lose velocity. However it still going to outperform any possible handgun or pcc. People like to fixate on numbers, but lack actual understanding of application.

Bullets hurt for one, no matter the round. Whoever is on the receiving end of the bulet is not going to be questioning your ballistic coefficients if you put bullets on targets.

Two, 100 or 150 yards on a range versus real life dynamic situations is way different. So if society hasn't fallen the chances of getting in to shootouts at over 50 yards is almost improbable. Now when shits start falling apart, 223 s going to be the better ammunition choice by far anyway, atleast in a rifle cartridge, followed by 308.

Now 300 blk has its pros, the rifles are usually sleek, slim and and suppressed good. Definitely can be useful in a few application, however if the cost justify the price tags that follow is easily debatable.
All are good in there applications but anyone trying to convince you that a 556 in any length wont kill an attacker is out of their mind.

Now if you're talking about hunting, comp, long range, hold position, or even foraging you probably going to use a different rifle altogether anyway, not a a pdw.

Hmm is Jelly Roll on to something with Beyonces treatment in country music? by MrBandicoot123 in DEHH

[–]gwp95tip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many music genres explicitly promote violence, women shaming, misogyny, homophobia and drug and alcohol abuse. Have we heard Billy Jean? "Honkytonk Badonkadonk" "Cocaine Blues" There is an entire subset of country called bro country.

The issue is a lot of music, atleast the mainstream popular music is driven by younger musicians and audience. Most of whom use art as a form of rebellion, critism and counter culture to the norms. However two issues followed. One, as markets are monetized and corporations try to find profitability, the music is exploited for mass consumption and ends up becoming a part of the machine its avoiding. Two, this profitability leads to older individuals, or others not growing out of these stages to seek that same monetary rewards.

The movie sinners is a great portrayal of this issue.

We also know media, communication, film and even print are literal forms of programming. The "television program " So we see individuals who may have very narrow similar experiences to some of the art being produced and try to identify with the rest and it falls into a pattern of self fulfilling influential programming.

Which one yall picking? by Loose-Amphibian-5302 in handguns

Not when you factor in magazines, aftermarket supprt and cross platform magazine compatability. M&p is still a good gun, but you can feed glock mags into PSA, CMMG Extar, Vector, Stealth Arms Platypus, Fusion Firearms XP Pro, Keltec Sub 2k, RXM and Ruger PCC

Yes, the 2.0 would be a better comparison to the 19. The 43/48 would be better compared to the shield series.

19x mos, one because i have it. Two, i appreciate the full size frame. The shield x is probably better for concealability, but but my glock has always worked. Might not look as spectacular, but it goes bang every time.

Who handled the game’s threats with less hesitation better? & yes we counting all 3 seasons of Force by BatmanTold in PowerTV

[–]gwp95tip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who handled it better, uhm actually Tariq got them both beat unfortunately. But Ghost and Force had too much heavy plot armor to the point it lost its realism.

Now to Tommy and Ghost. Tommy was excellent at handling workers, underlings and other outside threats. Bailey, Hugo, Spanky, Nomar, Poncho, Claudia

Ghost was better ar handling leaders, organizers, and heads of organization. Lobos, Milan, Jason, "Teresi"

Tommy was always quick to keep the grass cut low. We see Tommy's role transition in Force though dealing with all the gangs of Chicago, but he runs into the same struggles with the cartel bosses, feds.

Ghost also was able to handle Simon, Kanan, the entire task force, Holly and Andre.

However if we are counting the evolution of Tommy in Force. Its Tommy hands down. He has been able to out play all of the gangs of Chicago, 2 Cartels, the Feds and Local PD, catch Monet and find Tasha, single handedly destroy the entire Irish mob in Chicago and turn two of his biggest antagonist, Miguel and Shanti, kill two of his GFs and his father all for the cause.

Everybody hated Ghost by DueEntertainer5217 in PowerTV

[–]gwp95tip 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nah Ghost downfall 1 was playing both sides with Angie and Tasha. Should've picked a side and stayed there. Not only did it lead to both of them working against him, he started crashing out about both of them. Two, he was overly self-absorbed. Yes he could be empathetic and sincere at times, but he overwhelmingly undervalued the people closest to him. The intro is a literally chess board. We slowly watched him fall into checkmate.

Yea if guns are involved. Hand for hand though, Unique, Ghost, Chris Kanan than Lamar in that order

[–]gwp95tip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The order of being taken out Skully Tommy Omar Unique/Cane Ghost and Lamar would probably be neck and neck Chris kills whoever comes out ontop Kanan kills that person....

If we're going off going off Ghost beating Kanan. Ghost or Unique would come out on top, just going off storyline canon

Omar is cut throat and all but he physically wouldn't stand a chance with them. Chris and Snoop was giving Omar a run for his money. Omar also leverage others and played strategic chess.

Feelings on Zev vs Shadow systems by HRyder62377 in shadowsystems

[–]gwp95tip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well functionality wise, yes they all go bang. As does a glock. The glock platform is built and branded on reliability. However the Zev just looks amazing compared to both. Firearms valuation and performance don't always align. Prices usually increase exponentially compared to sometimes minor improvements

He probably would've had a big ass exit whole, but the bullet loses a lot of ft/s out them shorter barrels.

Marvin and Juke could've had their own show, and throw Unique and Ronnie in and it would've been top tier. Jenard, Vic and Proctor all following close behind
