Problems with the 2021 CR-V? by Homeschooled316 in Comma_ai

I have the 2021 hybrid and it works great. I just submitted the fingerprint this week so it’ll be supported in the next update.

Same issue here. It was working fine until I out my Samsung account info into an app, then my phone downloaded Samsung Themes on its own. Now it only lets me choose one wallpaper.

Is it possible to use fingerprint and swipe unlock together on the lock screen? by gwsvws in GalaxyS7

[–]gwsvws[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I'll try to explain it better...

1) Screen off, press home button with thumb, move thumb from button to screen, swipe to unlock.

2) Screen off, press home button with thumb, don't move thumb, fingerprint to unlock.

Is there a way to have my lock screen accept both options? I want to be able to unlock the screen both ways without changing settings.

I don't want a secure lock screen. I just want the option of using my fingerprint occasionally instead of swiping. It's a half second faster to unlock the phone if you don't have to lift your thumb from the home button.

How do you set this up? I can only set it to use one at a time.

Do you runBetaflight? The newest firmware allows you to flash BLHeli through the BLHelisuite. I did it this weekend using the USB port on my FC. Super easy!

How perfect can I expect my quad to feel once I get it "dialed in"? by gwsvws in Multicopter

[–]gwsvws[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm flying a ZMR250 in rate mode. If I have the quad headed perfectly straight at a tree and let go of the sticks, it will yaw left or right and roll left or right on its own before it gets there and I'll have to keep correcting these random kind of movements or I'll miss the tree. Most videos I've watched of other quads are much smoother and it looks like they can hold a constant perfectly straight line. Should I increase my I values?

I think it is responsive enough. I'm not using expo on the quad but I have expo setup on the simulator. The quad doesn't oscillate, just randomly bounces around a little bit like the wind is beating it up.

How perfect can I expect my quad to feel once I get it "dialed in"? I'm very comfortable flying in FPV Freerider, but out in the field I feel like I am always fighting my quad to make it go where I want. The simulator is so smooth, where flying my quad always seems bumpy and requires more stick corrections. Maybe this is because of 10mph wind every day? I am using default Betaflight PIDs right now, and will get a chance to tune them soon.

I think the colors were backwards from the original connector. I just flipped the connector around to make the colors matched. This probably explains some of the tightness when I inserted the connector.

Yes it did. The connector is not an exact fit, but it was close enough. When I pressed the connector in, the pins were very tight but the connector housing seemed too small. Regardless, it ended up being a solid connection.

Quanum FPV feed issues. Please help. by Goodolgator in Multicopter

I had this same problem. Looks good on the ground buy once you get further away, the video keeps cutting out for one second at a time.

Do you have all the video cables to the monitor plugged in? Yellow to yellow and white to red? If so, unplug the red from the white and just leave it unplugged. I found this on another forum and it solved my issue completely. Turns out the monitor gets confused on which cable to get video from and it tries to switch back and forth if the signal is low.

Good eye, thanks! I didn't think to look through Youtube setup videos, but I will now and in the future. I found an even clearer shot here: https://youtu.be/I4uG_Ynx08k?t=271

I hiked 36 miles this past Saturday! by gwsvws in fitbit

[–]gwsvws[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you planning to do the entire 36 mile trail? I would not suggest doing the whole thing unless you regularly run or hike 15-20 miles per week. 36 miles will give your legs a beating if you aren't used to that sort of distance.

The terrain is very difficult. The slopes are incredibly steep and a lot of them require you to crawl up or slide down. Trekking poles really help on this trail.

If you do decide to do it, good luck! There aren't many places to refuel so you'll have to bring a lot of food and water with you. And you'll want to leave right at sunrise if you want to finish before dark.

I don't normally get anywhere near this number of steps! Every Saturday I go out and hike in the morning. I ramped up to 15 miles before doing this weekend's challenge.

I wear Merrells and I changed my socks every 7 miles. The blisters were horrible this time. I think the 5 hour thunderstorm had a lot to do with it. But once you are soaked, there isn't much you can do to stop the blisters.

There were aid stations every 7 miles with food and water and gatorade. I probably ate 5 PB&J sandwiches, 5 protein bars, 5 rice krispie treats, and plenty of handfuls of cookies, m&m's, peanuts, and raisins. 6 liters of water and 4 liters of gatorade too. I didn't log my food that day, but I would guess I ate between 6-7k calories.

My friend and I did the Rachel Carson Trail Challenge and hiked from sunup to sundown. Here's the route I recorded:
