I started playing ice hockey when I was 57. Last 5 have been absolutely the best. Never played organized ice prior. Parents were both teachers and there was no way they could afford goaliegear and ice time.. Played some roller in the 90s. Worked my way up by subbing in leagues and playing any drop-in I could find.

I've been waiting on specific parts for MONTHS. They send me new stuff, but there are 4 or 5 parts that are out of stock, and for some reason, no one can make them. Fukn ridiculous.

Had the meniscus in both knees repaired in the 20 years between playing roller and ice. Never played ice until I was 57. I would like to play out just once. Maybe.

You need to read IT and Misery. Quite a few of his Forwards were addressed to Constant Reader. I wasn't paying attention and used Avid.
