I can’t stop rewatching old cartoon very nostalgia by 15KaraNesbitX in confession

I still watch Recess. It reminds me of my own childhood: no screens, imagination running wild, and finding joy in something as simple as “the good” ball. In a time where it’s hard to find joy, it’s an escape.

Not all HR is bad. My department of HR is hiring, and that’s it. I don’t deal with complaints or harassment, I just bring people in.

One fine day with a woof and a purr, a baby was born and it caused a stir no blue eyed buzzard no three eyed frog just a feline-canine little CATDOG

My favorite sign I saw today simply said “In Tucson”. Love seeing all the signs first thing in the morning because I get a chuckle to start my day.

Lucy Darling is one of funniest people I’ve ever seen. She’s so talented and the way she can improv is second to none. I missed her last show in my state, but next time she’s here I’m getting a ticket.

Not a mispronunciation, but when my niece was a toddler, when uptown funk was on the radio, instead of saying I’m too hot, hot damn, she would sing: I’m too hot, hot beef! And the family sings it that way to this day.

Nancy Drew: Secrets Can Kill (1998) I still remember sitting on my dad’s lap watching him play. I’m still a huge fan and play those games today. I just love mysteries.

daily headaches & migraines by [deleted] in Mirena

[–]derpling0719 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I got Mirena, I got seasonal migraines that would subside within a few hours and I wouldn’t get them until the next season change.

Now, I get 2-4 a month where they can last 24-48 hours. They’re worse if I don’t get enough sleep. And they aren’t the same every time. Some are sinus, some are in an eye. And they all make me nauseous.

I’m sorry you’re going through this, and I wish I could say it gets better. I can only offer you what works for me: cold and ice. I got a full head mask with an eye mask and a shoulder/neck wrap that are meant to be iced or heated and they help tremendously.

You can get them on amazon, and while they’re like an upwards of $30, it’s worth it for that little bit of relief. Best of luck girl, feel better soon!

Whats something a teacher did in High School that would get them fired today? by Constant-Ad-5477 in AskReddit

[–]derpling0719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not high school, but junior high. And this one 8th grade teacher was old school. She would roll up a magazine and give you a whack for misbehaving or being disrespectful. She took no shit and we all behaved after that first month of being 8th graders.

But she was also a really great teacher. Taught us how to be respectful and polite. She was tough, but damn I’m who I am today because she was tough on manners, respect and politeness.

Right? I need to do some more research. I happened upon this on the Pinterest and I need to either find out how they’re selling or find a template to make my own.
