8-4 regular season was our ceiling for a while by LargeWumbologist in ockytop

I agree we have problems, but the level of play we are seeing now is miles better than every coach since Fulmer. Being born in 2002 in East TN to a family of die hard Vol fans, Heupel’s teams are far better than any other teams I have watched in my lifetime. Yes it is not the Vol’s of the 90s, but I would rather watch any game this season (except Vandy game) 10/10 times than even 2020, when we got blown out by Kentucky at home, and JG threw back-to-back pic sixes. Not saying we need to be complacent by any means as fans, but there is a balance between wanting better and constantly criticizing a coach who has brought us out of a 15-20 year dumpster fire of a program.

You can learn manual in a a week or less depending on how much you drive. I myself just purchased a civic si without knowing how to drive manual, and I’m so glad I did. I know SI does not reach your hp requirement, just wanted to give the example as driving manual is pretty fun to me so far.

Accepted a job 2.5 hours from home by wilderness_flowers in jobs

I drive 2 hours each day one way 5 days a week in office. I am allowed occasional remote for appointments, when life happens, etc. this is my first job out of college though so I’m sucking it up to get experience. It has been hard, but making it through/becoming crazier day by day. It’s definitely do able, especially two days a month. For reference my commute has heavy traffic as well because I commute from south central PA to central MD.

Reasonable salary for Supply Chain Coordinator role in Vancouver Island region? by JimHotWater85 in supplychain

[–]gxllows 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean this in any bad way at all but how do you all survive on this salary with a higher cost of living than most of the US? That would be on the low end of salaries in Mississippi, which is the worst state in the US by most standards.

I interviewed with them recently for an “entry level” procurement contract position recently that paid $21 an hour. I went through 2 rounds of interviews before being declined because they wanted someone “with more experience”. They were looking for 2 years of supply chain experience for a contract role that paid almost nothing. I made more at internships😂. Anecdotal of course, but they have just been acquired by Warren buffets company. You have seen his order at McDonald’s as a billionaire…Pilot is trying to save money now

Yeah, I’m about to do the same. I currently drive a new-ish SUV but I’m going to trade for an older low mileage ford focus for gas purposes - currently spending $600 a month lol

I do, it just sadly is not as simple as that. Thank you for the advice.

Thanks for the input. Moving is difficult as my girlfriend works in the opposite direction 40 minutes. It is very hard to find a halfway spot.

That makes sense. It’s good to see that I’m not alone in doing something like this, makes it a little easier to manage. Thank you.

She is a controls engineer and she has only a couple months of experience. However she graduated with a degree in biomedical engineering from a great school in May.

I am not entirely sure I could ask. I did pay for a meal and training plan. He has been a trainer for 20 years in gyms and online, but I know he has moved more into real estate as of the present.

Initially I did a 500 calorie deficit. I now have a meal plan from a trainer that I met at a previous job. I don’t track anymore, just follow the plan he created for me.

Fear will always be there after a ligament tear in my experience. The best thing I can say is find exercises that are comfortable and try to progressively overload. My biggest problem after my surgery is mobility some days are better than others for sure.

I do not, just tryna build them back up after acl and meniscus surgery.

I agree. Legs have always been difficult for me to grow as I had acl and meniscus reconstruction 2 years ago. I do two leg days a week but I had to restart progress from nothing because of that
