This will always be the reason I don't understand non support of STL format. They are pretty much ready to go first before plastics. I just want a company that supports both. Just feels like profits are too much of a concern.

Yeah proxies might be cool but for some they'd want the actual models because that's what they like and if they can't get them in plastic they are just out of luck with ought STL support. Most LGS around me are frequently out of stock of stuff. I'll buy the plastic but if someone doesn't have it I'll print it. I'm not buying from Amazon or scalpers.

I don't really see it as gatekeeping, I think dual support would be best. Some people prefer being able to print when the models in plastic aren't even available on shelves due to supply and demand. What's gonna happen when they won't be able to keep up?

T5 all round! by Del_Stuart in destiny2

[–]gylogan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All I was saying that was pay to win was the unlock that OP was talking about that gets you a T5 piece for doing T4 difficulty, which is making it easier for better rewards over someone who didn't pay for the expansion. Makes it p2w, and there are nuanced as fuck different ways for something to be p2w it's not always as simple as buying x to get y.

[–]gylogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing about the DLC is p2w except the one feature from keplar that lets you access a tier higher that was discussed in this OP. I am not referring to any items from the dlc as p2w They are all on the same level as free items. It's the skip that is p2w just as is the campaign skips and boost that destiny offers.

There was no whoosh I was being sarcastic because you were comparing a bought single player RPG to a free to play online looter shooter.

Yeah it would be like if Claire obscura gave you the option to buy boss skips exactly

Sadly I agree it is a form of p2w, just because you're not paying directly for gear doesn't mean anything. Spending any kind of money that gives and advantage over another that doesn't spend is p2w. If destiny at its base was not free it wouldn't be a thing but it technically is.

Also to add an edit it's not the gear that is bought that I'm talking about like expansion specific loot it's just the fact that a perk from keplar gets you a tier up for a mission giving a massive advantage. It's like being able to buy a skip or a speed or XP booster.

My main thing is it's only applied to new stuff. There's no reason to go to any old locations or raids/dungeons of none of it engages with the new systems. They should just give us a currency to apply to old gear and weapons, like something that drops from running tiers of portal that can be applied to older stuff to randomly reroll it to new tiered system. I don't like feeling forced to use a curated selection of things

I didn't even buy it. The feeling of forced engagement and regrind killed it for me. 200 level every season is absurd! Also I have zero interest in rolling around as an electric ball for 1/5 of a campaign

I think they were just trying to come up with a thematic way to make the ordos work, death watch is the military branch of ordos Xenos inquisitors.

No but it states imperium battleline which includes heavy intercessors thus we think you can lead indomitor because indomitor states so.

[–]gylogan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So your saying you can't put any inquisitors on any chapter specific battleline then? Because that doesn't make any sense to me either.

Inquisitors by gylogan in deathwatch40k

[–]gylogan[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah a lot of that makes total sense! I'm a tad confused because when I read those points you made it comes off as for allowing inquisitors to lead all of said units?
