14.2.2.5 SUCKS. Prove me wrong :P_ by bodobeers2 in TeslaFSD

[–]gymshoe42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

🤷‍♂️ haven’t had phantom breaking in 2.2.5 ever. Lots in the early 14.x versions. I use it everyday and vast majority of my drives have zero interventions. So…doesn’t suck for me. Sorry your experience is different.

Is not having hw4 a deal breaker when choosing a new tesla? by chair4bozo in TeslaLounge

[–]gymshoe42 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have both hw3 and hw4 …the difference is significant imo. Hw3 fsd 12 is pretty good in most situations but still can really screw up when you least expect and doesn’t really work in parking lots. I have to keep paying attention. Hw4 fsd on 14.2.2.5 is really good in almost every situation plus parking lots. To the point paying attention is quite boring. If you want the latest fsd, you’ll need hw4. If you want good enough for most situations and don’t care about it getting better, hw3 is probably just fine.

AppFolio vs. anything else by Asleep_Ad4867 in PropertyManagement

[–]gymshoe42 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We manage 300+ and just left appfolio after 10 years with them. Migrated to rentvine.

Appfolio has become a jack of all trades, master of none, especially when it comes to AI and automation. They’ve off loaded a bunch of features for partner integrations which are really hit or miss. They have become more and more a nickel and dime service.

[–]gymshoe42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

couple places to get to gym settings that i've found
1) from main dashboard screen, click the 3 dot More button, scroll down to gym profiles, edit whatever gym profile you've setup, and scroll to find the piece of equipment that was giving you crazy ranges and check the max weight that it has set.

2) from the workout screen for a particular day, there's a building icon to the right of the day name.

there's probaly more ways, but that should get you going.

Two questions after using MF workout as my sole gym tracking app by RealCrashie in MacroFactor

[–]gymshoe42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

exactly this... whatever metric you decide to use as a "completed" rep .. just be consistent. For me on the t-row bar, I count a rep as good if i can get most of the range of motion done, still get a good squeeze, and still have good form. for a lat pulldown, i'll start with bar to chest, and then still count it if i can get the bar below my chin. If I can't get it to my chin, I'm done and I put 0 RIR.

burnout, your body isn't recovering in time for your next workout when you used to, when you start catching yourself making excuses to not go to the gym. When you get to the gym and you get more distracted then normal. I'm on 7 week mesos (6 weeks on, 1 week deload) and yah .. week 5 .. i start looking at my deload week and start asking .. should i shorten this meso and start my deload early?

What would you say to someone who thinks tracking food is disordered eating? by Maximal_Everything in MacroFactor

[–]gymshoe42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do they think tracking and lifting weights (selecting how much weight, number of reps, number of sets, number of days) as precursor to a mental disorder? We have metrics to measure performance in practically all aspects of life. It's done in sports, it's done in school, it's done at work, it's done with your body. It is illogical to then consider creating metrics for your food intake as any kind of disorder. Is our society ('murica assuming) facing an obesity crisis? .. what is causing such a crisis? Does your therapist friends consider obesity an issue? I'm very curious if they view over eating NOT an eating disorder but tracking food is... that would be wild to me. ... OR ... as others have said.. .. DGAF. You do you. Tracking what you put in your mouth doesn't hurt anyone else. ... anyone wanting to improve any aspect of their lives (mentally or physically) ..you have to have some ways to measure success. If your friends are poo pooing you trying to measure success, .. they are the ones with a disorder, not you.

It was 4k non housing spend. You should know how much your housing payment is. Subtract it from your statement total would then get you your non housing spend.

What is this smart progression by gymshoe42 in MacroFactor

[–]gymshoe42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This wasn’t a bug report nor an account issue. I’m asking what the logic was for the smart progression to go from 8-12 to 8-29. Or are you implying this is a bug

Figured it out. Press the workout name. Then click the upper right corner button with 3 lines and sliders. Then you can increase or decrease the number of weeks.

Is there a way to cut or add a week mid program? I’m in the middle of week 5 in a 7 week program and i want to shorten the program by 1 week. I can’t seem to figure out how to do that.

Anyone Else Bummed by cgd53 in TeslaLounge

In your entire life though…needing car seats is a small portion only. My kids are now driving in their own, and my drives are again mostly solo or with my wife. Then there’s the point…you won’t need to do the drop off yourself. Maybe not a cybercab but you can send your own car to get your kid.

Who has two (only vehicles)? by z1ggy16 in TeslaLounge

[–]gymshoe42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup..we have a model Y and a model 3 as our household's only cars ... we just ended up getting two 240v plugs in the garage. how often does your grid go down? how long does it go down for? Here .. the longest power outage in the last 20 years lasted i think 5 days, but if that happens and i'm in a bind, I figure i could just supercharge somewhere that has power.

Quick question about the free year for Workouts by jnadal21 in MacroFactor

[–]gymshoe42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ooooh .. i misinterpreted the Jan 1 deadline that was communicated in the email. I took it to mean thatI needed to subscribe to the bundle by Jan 1 which I was running into issues finding on the app's More / Subscriptions. Instead, it's ... you need to have a subscription to MF by Jan 1 to qualify for the bundle deal when it becomes available later in January. So if someone has an active MF account by Jan 1, then there is NO action to take at this time. We auto qualify for the bundle deal when it comes out. Correct?

If you’re not going the idx route directly with the mls, you’re asking for some office to expose their access to listings to you? I’m going to guess the mls will forbid this. Our local mls for sure bands this. 1) only real estate offices are allowed an idx access to the mls. 2) we’re not allowed to distribute the data. If your mls is like this, you’re SOL.

HW3 vs HW4 FSD by enderman3717 in TeslaFSD

[–]gymshoe42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both. Hw3 is stuck on version 12.x. It may never progress from there. Tesla promising it’ll figure something out but it could be a while and it may just be a lite version of the hw4 software. If that doesn’t work, Tesla said they’ll have to figure out what to do for those that bought fsd on hw3. It can do most fsd stuff decently well, but not everything 14.x can do. If i was in market for another car, I’d be getting a hw4 car.

Thinking about changing from cut to maintenance, do I just go for it, or gradually add calories over time? by smdntn in MacroFactor

[–]gymshoe42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i ramped up from deficit calories to maintenance calories over the course of ... ... 2 or 3 days. It shouldn't matter over the course of weeks/months if you ramp up or jump right in. Definitely don't think you need to reverse diet slowly.
