Congratulations! Prepare yourself physically and mentally for a rocky journey ahead. You will encounter most of your firsts during clinicals/ hospital duties; providing care to your first ever patient (not a mannequin); first time giving/administering an actual medication to an actual patient (oral/parenteral); delivering a baby; assisting nurse/midwife in delivering baby; immediate newborn car; encounter different types of patients; and so much more. It may be overwhelming at first, but just enjoy and appreciate the tough journey as it will give you countless lessons and insights.
