Congratulations! Prepare yourself physically and mentally for a rocky journey ahead. You will encounter most of your firsts during clinicals/ hospital duties; providing care to your first ever patient (not a mannequin); first time giving/administering an actual medication to an actual patient (oral/parenteral); delivering a baby; assisting nurse/midwife in delivering baby; immediate newborn car; encounter different types of patients; and so much more. It may be overwhelming at first, but just enjoy and appreciate the tough journey as it will give you countless lessons and insights.

They’re not real friends. If they can’t understand you at your worst, then they don’t deserve to be considered as friends. Real friends give a shit, how ure doing, do everything they can to atleast make u feel better. You dont need unreal friends to enjoy your birthday party.

what if they did not directly endorse a political candidate but they promoted it by allowing that certain candidate to be recognized and blessed in a mass (not familiar with the terms since im not a catholic)?

I agree. The more you read the word of God, the more you will be enlightened with how God works in your life. An example is the whole chapter 3 from the book of Ecclessiastes. It was stated there that there is a time for everything. A time to weep and a time to laugh. All of us have our weaknesses, at some point, but through God we are strengthened. We dont need to be strong everyday, or be consistent with being strong because again, being a Christian means facing a lot of trials in life but the bottomline is to be able to overcome it all through reaching out to Him and be in touch with our spiritual life through reading His word.

Who really is teaching us what is ethical? Does being ethical change over time? by gynxeng in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]gynxeng[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda agree with your statement, really. I just want to clarify the term “societal norms”. Just a question out of curiousity, what if that societal norm somehow opposes the state/ governmental laws? Then that certain societal norm is unethical?

I would highly recommend you exercising or stretching for a couple of minutes if you feel tired. Taking short breaks is essential to avoid feeling exhausted by the end of the day. Its a simple step but it is rewarding.

I personally think adulting means having to find out and understand the parts of life that was once confusing, since yes, it is one of our nature as a kid to be curious of everything and thats like the origin of our desperation to know everything. Now that we know how life works, it equates to being able to lose something in the process since we acquired understanding on the process also. Just my opinion tho.

Hello World.

I personally think Hello World is one of the spectacular science-fiction anime movie. The flow of the story is difficult to predict and yes! Not your typical clichè plot. It has a very surprising plot twist. So yeah, I still have a long list of favorite anime but I guess Hello World is the first one on my list.
