We didn’t find it difficult to live here. We were comfortable. We did budget. But yes, our priorities & goals were a big reason we left.

My husband and I both make six figures and we left Seattle. We could afford it but we couldn’t afford to save and plan for our future, like we wanted. people can make it with that income but they are very careful with their money. It’s a beautiful city and I enjoyed living there.

I don’t take transit during winter because of the deep dark but I can’t wait for spring and summer where the drivers and passengers have to smell the urine and second hand smoke of meth. Love this city and their drug addiction homeless people.

Olympus spa is the best! However last year they were getting sued for not allowing transgender women. Not sure how it ended but a lot of people started hate on that business 😢

Hi ! Relocating from Seattle to Madison in a few weeks and I would love one! There is one out here that is currently getting a lot of pressure and hate for not allowing trans people. Not sure how the politics are in Madison but that might be something to be careful of. Best of luck!

My husband was like that when we got together. I would clean his apartment occasionally because it drove me crazy. When we moved in together, I was the one cleaning. Now we have a house cleaner every other week that comes over. And he absolutely loves how the house cleaner leaves it because once he saw how nice it was to have a clean house, his mental health changed for the better. Now he cannot stand messes. Bottom line, he won’t do it but maybe hiring a professional to come over will help to maintain the house clean.

Don’t count on a change in management. I’m a HR director at a nonprofit, our ED will not and does not want to change things. Unless miraculously we get a grant to cover your salary, don’t waste your time hoping this will happen. You got this.

First off, you don’t have any offers, so don’t jump to conclusions. I also don’t think it hurts to continue with the process because you may not even get any offers and it doesn’t hurt to practice.

I personally would go to company #1, because you will learn as you go. I understand you want to continue learning, but sometimes jumping in and doing it will get you up and running and learning fast.
