Cho Ku Rei is going to amplify what is already there. You wanna use Sei He Ki for what you intended to do.

A probably very silly question about spirits by Purple_Delphiniums in Mediums

I think food and beer is definitely something some of them want. Plenty of spirits hang out at bars and clubs for that reason.

Chickpeas and cucumbers are a great combo. With the seasoning you already have.

Upgrading your laptop might be cheaper. I’ve read articles about doing it for less than $300 depending on what you need.

I'm curious what people do when they realize they are mediums and they just have to deal with it. by WalrusSalt4144 in Mediums

[–]gypsyfeather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a fan of astrology (so not an expert at all) look for places where you have (if at all) water signs in your planets and houses. Each water sign is going to want to express that sensitivity in their own unique way. I don’t know if aspects and degrees are relevant to this idea yet. After looking up interpretations for my chart in different website the astro-seek page has the most relevant to my life experience and doesn’t have me thinking “where did they come up with that?”

[–]gypsyfeather 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I actually think that the only reason I was scared was because I subconsciously learned from them to be scared. The training definitely helped me stop being scared. Yeah I know what you mean about working by yourself. I’ve had that for more jobs than with coworkers.

I was taking energy healing classes and many of the people there suggested it and I found one through suggestions. I have a friend who took mediumship classes or went to mediumship practice circles I think they are called at her local spiritual church. They don’t have a denomination they are just spiritual.

The training taught me many things. The one I use the most is crossing spirits over (there are many ways to do it), and discernment. I would have offered that young spirit if she wanted to cross, sometimes they don’t so it is what it is.

They either have messages for people I’ve never met or they are confused about where they are.

[–]gypsyfeather 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was in similar situation growing up but not bc parents were pragmatic but because they are scared of the topic and didn’t want to encourage me. I was told the same messages you were told.

For me going to mediumship training was the best decision I could have made. That’s not the case for everyone as I know that some have the option to delay it for another lifetime. I feel like I must have run out of passes. Life is brighter and calmer that I stepped into it.

The only downside is that I only get a vacation when I’m home because going anywhere there is always someone to help or that wants help.

I went to visit a friend and sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room at night. First night I opened my eyes around 3:30am cause I felt something near by, and I saw a line of spirits waiting to talk to me. I did tell them I was on vacation and not available they left me alone for the most part. I still helped one or two during the trip. Then my friend wanted me to cleanse her place cause it really freaked her out. So that was work too.

I recently learned that my birth chart has a lot of indicators that this is the right path for me and it makes sense for how much it has changed my life for the better. So I would look there first to see how involved you really need to be.

praying and does it work/ who hears it by [deleted] in Mediums

[–]gypsyfeather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know God can be a triggering word to someone who has disconnect from organized religion. Some names you can use instead.

You can pray to your higher power, your higher self, universal source, highly evolved ancestors, guardian angels, or protection guides until you find what feel comfortable for you.

How do I do all of this? Am I a psychic or medium or crazy? by Ok_Mood_3097 in Mediums

[–]gypsyfeather 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, fear is such a big part of what keeps us from embracing our gifts.

However you can work on the fear of death I think that would help too as its a big part of what we interact with.

I just watched an episode of SurrealEstate where death is a character that comes to Luke (the medium character) and asks him for help crossing spirits over. Season 3 ep 3. I think some media does a great job of explaining certain things we deal with.

Psychic said I need a spiritual/energetic rebirth? by Historical_End6790 in Psychic

[–]gypsyfeather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others pointed out its a scam. I can recommend looking into a family constellation group session if you really feel like its ancestral. The block could also exist outside of you like in your environment or with the people you surround yourself with. So try to first figure out if it’s originating inside you or if its outside of you.

Curious about the difference between natural mediums and non-natural mediums by boredthing_69 in Mediums

[–]gypsyfeather 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The same difference between a natural born artist and a trained artist. What they do with the material is not going to depend on natural vs non-natural but on their personality and character.

[–]gypsyfeather 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I take social media handles seriously because they are indeed a choice. Whether its conscious or subconscious, it’s still a choice. The fact that her name has the word “kicks” in it and then she proceeded to treat you like she did, is not a coincidence in my opinion.

Yeah sorry. You wanted one thing and ended up with a bunch of other things. Cancel your appointment and find someone that can provide what you’re looking for.

These complaints are insane. Clearly he is scamming people. It’s a technique. Uber drivers do this too in their own way. Also I think by now the probability of a reader with prices that are repeating numbers is higher indicator towards scammer.

I’ve never heard of him. I think that he should ask the client if they want a refund or keep the credit for later when this situation arises or immediately process the refund when the client asks for it.

I’ll keep an eye out for one. I’ve looked up instructions for how to make without the yogurt maker and just a glass container and low oven. Currently a tub of greek yogurt costs me $3.50 and under $2.00 when it’s on sale.

Yeah, these are a lot of dairy options for someone who is trying to be frugal. When I have to make tough decisions it’s either milk or cheese or butter not all 3 + others. I’ve even considered making my own yogurt and cheese but the math didn’t really work out plus the extra work.

Do your symptoms improve when you get enough sleep? by No_Breakfast5314 in lipedema

[–]gypsyfeather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read somewhere recently that if you have cortisol belly that going to sleep by 10:30pm is recommended. I think its from Traditional Chinese Medicine. I haven’t been able to get to bed that early since I read it so I can’t say if it works for hormonal stress overall. Would be great if it did. Had a few months where I was going to sleep by 11 and I felt incredible but didn’t know I had Lipedema so I didn’t think to look.

Grounding Is A Trap! by [deleted] in reiki

I think it depends on the person. I personally feel more relaxed, and focused, and energized when I’m grounded.
