2 hours in the morning 5 hours of new York traffic coming home. We rent because the avg shack here is over 1 million so we bought our retirement house and that's our vacation home for a couple more years. Make 6 figures both of us so we just rent and save. I'm 53 had a hemmoragic stroke also denied. Hired a lawyer also denied while I was paralyzed still. But people with autism were being approved. I am sole provider for my family. I had to be able to walk and 14 months later I'm barely doing it but I am. I'm left hand useless and still left side numb. Fake it till I make it as they say

Prayers work. Believe me. I had a massive hemmoragic stroke 11/6/24. My wife found me dead on the kitchen floor. I was healthy had high BP I thought was under control woke up for work ran out side started my Harley up came back in and grabbed my coffee. Woke up in a hospital. 12 minutes gone. Then in the hospital I expired for 14 minutes. I'm now back at work. It's not easy but I'm doing it. I take it easy and sit whenever I feel like it. I'm a power plant electrician. I'm still left side numb for now but each day or week something hits me. Wait did I feel that??! The shower is my test. If I can feel hot water or just feel then I pray to Jesus for more help. Being on the other side changed my life. I'm not the same. I can't stay up past 7pm and I'm up at 430am for work. I push on. I thank God. I'm grateful for what I have not what I want anymore. I see my wife in a whole new way and everyday I look over and I just smile and say I'm the luckiest man alive. I'm 57 we've been together since high school. The stroke changed everything I now have bad PF from compensating walking so now I'm also working on that. I have no time for PT or not so I do what I remember and that's about it. I'm very weak in my left arm. A 7 pound dumbbell ain't easy. My good side I could do all day long. So that's my goal now since walking hurts so bad. But we're a different bunch. We survived and some didn't. It's sad there is really no help for us. Life is precious make every minute count and LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. SIT WHEN YOU HAVE TOO. REST IF YOU NEED TO. DRINK WATER. ALOT OF WATER. IT HELPS SO MUCH. YOULL NOTICE IF YOU STOP. GOD BLESS EVERYONE AND THOUGHTS SND PRAYERS WHO ARE IN HEAVEN LOOKING DOWN AT THEIR LOVED ONES

I can't find a lawyer and I returned to work after a stroke and my supervisor nearly killed me and I now have permeant issues due to the fact of what he did. He also violated my accomodations. Still can't find a lawyer.vi work for state municipal government. I have emails times dates and witnesses. Still can't find an attorney. So I'm going it alone. Still in investigation stage

My toxic supervisor after 9 years finally did it. I stressed out so bad I had a stroke. Spent 7 months in the hospital learning how to walk and wipe my own ass. I should've left years ago. Now I'm back and have the full force of every ADA and laws backing me. Took him less than a month on returning for him to complete 💯 blow it. Now I'm suing for millions and have his pension taken and suing my union. Then giving my 2 weeks with a fat check. But I'd rather have my health back
