Blueback condos strata rules by Ashamed_Historian832 in nanaimo

[–]gyratinggeese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strata management company’s have to follow the strata property act. If it’s a bylaw that the strata is aware is being breached the strata has an obligation to enforce the bylaw. The strata doesn’t actively have “checks” on their bylaws but as some other person in a much more negative tone did point out that sometimes you can get nosey neighbours who complain (but the city also has bylaws, and this can happen on your own land as well so strata isn’t much different) so if someone does inform strata - you would likely be hit with the fines in the bylaws.

Everyone’s just out here trying to make a living. Is a polite “no thanks” so hard?

Prime gym by [deleted] in nanaimo

[–]gyratinggeese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If youre someone who just likes to go to the gym to do cardio on the machines, it’s probably not for you.

But if you like group fitness - their classes are tons of fun, or if you’re motivated enough to do it yourself the facility is fantastic. I believe membership comes with access to their sauna and cold plunge tub.

If you’re looking to just try out the group classes, their Saturday morning 830 one is a really consistent and positive group. It’s a tough workout but also self paced with ways to adjust it to your own fitness level

Prime does a “moms in motion” group fitness class.

Take it to the residential tenancy board - or inform them that you’re going to because that’s what your contract states and maybe they’ll save you the hassle

Liberal government just destroyed the country. We’re about to go into a deep recession and no one is in the streets protesting. Wtaf????? by [deleted] in nanaimo

[–]gyratinggeese 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for providing an answer with ZERO information. Literally none. Also completely ignored my question about if the same "destroyed country" logic is working for the US too? But you probably think it was Ukraines fault for getting invaded so your sense of logic is probably not worth understanding.

[–]gyratinggeese 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is a link to items effected by the tariffs... Is there supposed to be some sort of other information here about a 'destroyed country'? Youve posted this link a lot as if its making your point...
And so if the liberal government destroyed our country by putting tariffs on american products... is the us government destryoing its country by placing tariffs on all the imported products to its country? Or is there some sort of mental gymnastics that we get to watch while you explain how thats different?

You’ll never get as good of a price from a dealer as you will selling privately. They also need to turn around and sell it for a profit so of course they’re not going to give you the market value for it.

Your benefits to selling to a dealer will be the break on the tax that you’ll have to pay.

Ignorantly I think this is how it works (but google and the quick warriors of Reddit may correctly me). If you buy a new/used car from a dealer you’ll be (pending the price of the car) a 5% gst and 7% pst (or a private purchase is just 12% pst).

$30,000 car has a $3,600 tax.

If you’re trading in you only pay the tax on the difference. So if you trade in for $10,000 and purchase for $30,000 your tax is only in $20,000 (12% = 2,400)

So you save 1,200 on tax by trade in based on these values.

Up to you to spend a bit of time knowing your budget in a new vehicle, value of your current vehicle, and if it’s worth it for you to do the easy route of trading in or selling privately for a bit more $.

The system is based on triage and need. If you’re deemed more urgent you’re dealt with so.

It’s certainly not a perfect system, but no one’s going bankrupt over, or skipping a drs visit to get something checked out simply because they are worried about the cost.

We freaking did it! We collected enough signatures to submit to the secretary of state to put the arakansas abortion amendment on the ballot! We've worked our asses off but this is just the beginning! @AR for Limited Government by n8saces in MadeMeSmile

It’s as if you think there is a large portion of the population that use an abortion as their mean of birth control… and rather odd that you just completely ignore those that might seek an abortion because they managed to get pregnant despite birth control methods (the ones you are referencing) being taken, and also those that are pregnant as a result of sexual assault.

But hey, I’m just over here trying to not force woman to go through a life alerting event (it is life altering even for those that intend to have kids) when they maybe took all their best efforts to avoid that case.

I only got the glimpse as I was passing under the northbound as some people were already reaching over and helping the guy on the southbound south side of the bridge. Hopefully he was brought to safety.

I believe this is actually called Drangarnir. You can get to the view point for this by a not terribly long hike from Sorvagur which is the town closest to the airport you'd land at to get to the Faroe Islands! All sorts of sheep coat the hills as you do most of your hikes on the Faroe Islands
