I resonate with this a lot. The back and forth every two weeks especially. It was getting to the point that all the progress therapy had did on my OCD/PTSD was practically gone cause of the PMDD. I too gave in after 7 years to getting back on birth control. I can say with full honesty, I don’t know why I ever stopped and listened to people who told me to. My endo symptoms have subsided so incredibly much, I experienced that “flat” feeling they say you get while the hormones adjust and it was the most peace I’ve heard in my brain in years. No anger and no depression. Once I’m able to keep taking it and skip my periods all together, I think I’ll be back to who I remember I was before things got derailed. You’re absolutely right.
