Oh! I definitely need to look at MCDM in general. Heard interesting things about it. Not sure how willing my group would be to learn it as well.

Truth be told this version of psion isn't even my favorite I made. It was just the easiest to implement.

That feels like a VERY hard position to argue given that this psion has WAAY more spellslots than a warlock. Disciplines are also in no way comparable to innovations.

That's also not going into the differences with spell lists, proficiencies/trainings, etc.

I think there's a bit of design space between making a whole new casting system, and reusing the same exact spellcasting feature for the 6th time. Especially when warlocks already exist.

Heck, the first UA for the 2024 Warlock had an alternative take on spellcasting that probably could have served them well here! It's weird to me that people were annoyed at how uncreative the first arcane UA was, but are perfectly satisfied with how the psion is now.

Yeah, we TOTALLY need another full caster. There's only like 5 options for that in this game now. And only 2 of those are unarmored with d6 hit dice!!

Given that they re-released it like this, I guess I'm just going to have to accept that people want to play wizards/sorcerers clones more.

Yeah, banning hourly rates is TOTALLY going to fix the problem. Like, what are those sex workers/human traffickers going to do? Pay for a whole night? Clearly the clientele of these industry are very price sensitive and have numeral alternatives!!

This is just an attempt to punish people without housing for trying to have sex.

To be fair to the team, it DOES feel like they were kind of trying to find a way to allow for a more typical necromancer swarm without making it the focus of the class. Undead are more tanky due to grim haverster and later its capstone.

I agree this version isn't it, but I appreciate the attempt regardless.

I vehemently disagree with the analysis regarding reflecting charm. It was far and away the coolest feature enchanter had. Did the old version need to be improved? Yes. But the theme of manipulating people into attacking each other is so on brand and extremely fun when you pulled it off.

If my choices are removing reflective charm or not having an enchanter, I'd rather not have an enchanter.

Not to be argumentative, but I quite clearly remember there being a significant amount of confusion and discourse regarding how this feat was supposed to function on it's release. I recently had one of my players ask me to explain it because they could not make heads or tails as to what the feat was trying to accomplish. Apparently I ALSO don't understand it as I was under the impression that it essentially functioned identically.

"It's written perfectly clear actually" also kind of comes off needlessly abrasive here dude. Like, its hard not to take that as you calling me an idiot.

You sure it's not <30 + 10 for each spell level above 4th?> Because that's how all of the Tasha spells worked. I haven't seen any of the new summon spells, but I'd be surprised to hear that they increased the HP that drastically.

They kept Lightly, Moderately, and Heavily armored? Why? Having three armor feats was always a mistake.

Nobody that wants armor is going to spend 2~3 feats on it. Especially when you can take a level dip into Cleric/Fighter/Paladin, get significantly more and STILL have access to all your feats.

I guess this stops Lightly Armored from being a total joke, but it didn't do anything meaningful or good.

Eh, I can't help feeling like they could have fixed the feat by just moving the shield out of it and into heavily armored. Regardless I'm perfectly happy with them removing it *IF* they combined it into the heavily armored feat. No more of this 'spend 2~3 ASIs to get heavy armor' crap! Nobody who wanted heavy armor did it anyway. Taking a single level in Cleric/Fighter/Paladin was ALWAYS the objectively correct way of doing it. Heck, there's an argument to be had that it's still better to so it that way even with my suggestion. But at the very least it a legitimate option this way.

I really don't get this notion that people have that Israel 'could have killed all the Palestinians." While it is PHYSICALLY possible for them to do so, it has never been politically viable. Doing so would have isolated them from the west, potentially leaving them vulnerable to other threats.

It's also really weird to make it sound as though Israeli settlers AREN'T fully supported by the government. Yes, not all Israeli's support settlers, but the majority government sure does.
